dc.description.abstractIn the title compound, C22H18N2O5, the central beta-lactam ring (r.m.s. deviation = 0.002 angstrom) makes dihedral angles of 64.21 (14), 82.35 (12) and 20.66 (13)degrees with the phenyl ring and the nitro-and methoxybenzene rings, respectively. The molecular structure is stabilized by an intramolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond. In the crystal, molecules are linked via C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, forming slabs lying parallel to (111). The slabs are linked via C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions, forming a three-dimensional network.en_US
