dc.description.abstractKategoriler, varlığa yüklenen en genel yüklenenler olması açısından konusu itibariyle hem mantığın hem de felsefenin araştırma alanına girdiğini söylemek mümkündür. Mantığı sistemleştiren Aristoteles, bu eseri Organon külliyatının başına koyup bütün bilimlerin anlaşılmasını Kategoriler‟e bağlayarak, önemini güçlü bir şekilde ortaya koyduğu görülmektedir. Aristoteles sonrası dönemde hem Helenistik şarihler hem de İslâm filozofları tarafından yoğun bir şekilde inceleme konusu yapılan en önemli eser, Kategoriler olmuştur. Nitekim felsefe ve mantık tarihine bakıldığında diğer eserlere nazaran Kategoriler üzerine iki yüzden fazla şerhin yazıldığını ancak çok azının günümüze ulaştığını ifade edebiliriz. Kategoriler adlı eser, veciz bir şekilde yazılmasına rağmen Antikçağdan günümüze kadar ciddi tartışmaların ana kaynağını oluşturması açısından da önemlidir. Bu tartışmalardan biri de kategorilerin sayısına dairdir. Biz de bu makalemizde Aristoteles‟ten İbn Hazm‟a kadar olan süreçte kategorilerin sayılarına yönelik ortaya konan tartışmaları ve bunlara dair çözüm önerilerini incelemeye çalışacağız.en_US
dc.description.abstractIt is possible to say that both logic and philosophy are included in the research field in terms of the categories being the most general attributions to existence. It is seen that Aristotle, who systematized logic, put this work at the head of the Organon corpus, and by connecting the understanding of all sciences to the Categories, it strongly demonstrated its importance. The most important work, which was studied extensively by both Hellenistic commentators and Islamic philosophers in the post-Aristotelian period, has been Categories. As a matter of fact, when we look at the history of philosophy and logic, we can say that more than two hundred commentaries on Categories were written, but very few of them survived. Although the work titled Categories is written concisely, it is important in terms of forming the main source of serious discussions from Antiquity to the present. One of these debates is about the number of categories. In this article, we will try to examine the discussions on the number of categories from Aristotle to Ibn Hazm and the solution proposals for them.en_US
