dc.description.abstractEsophageal foreign bodies are frequently encountered in the pediatric population and specific high-risk groups of adults. Foreign bodies in the esophagus can result in serious complications, depending on the size and the shape of the ingested object. We report the case of a four-year-old boy with an esophageal injury after the accidental ingestion of an umbrella wire.en_US
