Özet
This study aimed to test the effectiveness of the implementation of elementary 6th grade Turkish curriculum based on teacher views. The data collection instruments in the study were the 33-item five-point Likert type Turkish Course Curriculum Scale developed by Bulut (2006) and the 10-item three-point Likert type Scale for Variables Affecting the Learning Process. The study group comprised a total of 146 Turkish teachers from 49 elementary schools located in the center of Diyarbakir, where elementary 6th grade Turkish Course Curriculum was being followed. Data obtained from these teachers were analyzed by using t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Kruskal Wallis H and Scheffe test. The results showed that the views of Turkish teachers about the overall curriculum did not vary significantly with respect to gender, seniority and class size.
