dc.description.abstractEndüstri Devrimi’nin sonucu olarak kırdan kentlere yoğun göçler yaşanmış ve bu durum özellikle sanayileşmiş kentlerde işçi sınıfının yoğunlaştığı bölgelerde barınma başta olmak üzere birçok so- runu beraberinde getirmiştir. Barınma problemine çözüm olarak sosyal konut üretimi gerçekleşmiş ve günümüze kadar gelen süreçte farklı uygulama şekilleriyle üretilmeye devam etmiştir. Türki- ye’de 1984 sonrasında Toplu Konut İdaresi toplu konut üretiminde rol almaya başlamıştır. Çalış- mada, Cizre ilçesi Konak Mahallesi’nde yer alan Bozalan Toplu Konut Alan ı’nın çevresel sürdürülebilirlik açısından değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Literatürde, Cizre’nin kentsel gelişimini ele alan çalışmaların sınırlı sayıda olması ve kentteki toplu konut uygulamalarını değerlendiren çalışmanın olmaması alan seçiminde etkili olmuştur. Cizre’nin kentsel gelişimi ve TOKİ uygulama- larının değerlendirildiği çalışmada, toplu konut alanının çevresel sürdürülebilirliği, “topoğrafya, iklim ve bitki örtüsü, sosyal alt yapı, teknik altyapı ve ulaşım, binaya ilişkin düzenlemeler, manzara ve çevre sorunları” doğrultusunda irdelenmiştir. Alanda saha çalışması yapılmış, gözlem ve fotoğ- raflama teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuçta, incelenen Bozalan toplu konut alanının kent merkezi ile bağını sağlayacak etkin ulaşım sistemine ve kentin yerel özeliklerini ele alan farklı tasarımlara ih- tiyaç duyduğu ve çözüm olarak sürdürülebilir planlama gerekliliği ortaya konmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractAs a result of the Industrial Revolution, intensive migration from rural areas to cities occurred, which brought many problems, particularly in areas where the working class was concentrated in industrialized cities, including housing. To find a solution to the housing problem, social housing began to be built, and this has continued to this day with different application methods. In Turkey, the Mass Housing Administration (MHA) began to play a role in mass housing production after 1984. In the study, it is aimed to evaluate the Bozalan Mass Housing Area located in the Konak neighborhood of Cizre in terms of environmental sustainability.The limited number of studies on the urban development of Cizre and the lack of studies evaluating the mass housing applications in the city have influenced the selection of Cizre as the study area. In the study, in which the urban development of Cizre and TOKİ applications were evaluated, the environmental sustainability of the mass housing area was examined in terms of "topography, climate and vegetation, social infrastructure, technical infrastructure and transportation, regulations regarding the building, landscape and environmental problems". Field work was carried out in the study, and observation and photographing techniques were used. As a result, it has been revealed that the examined Bozalan mass housing area needs an effective transportation system that will provide its connection with the city center and different designs that address the local characteristics of the city, and the necessity of sustainable planning as a solution.
