Özet
In 1897-1898, Captain Elliot, who was the Vice-Consul of the Van Province of Britain, made a trip to Hakkari (Hekkiari) Province to learn about the region and to observe the events in a short time. The Vice-Consul Elliot visited the Kochannes (Konak), the center of the Nestorians in Julamerk and during this visit Matran, other Nestorian leaders and Mr. Browne. Mr. Browne of the Archbishop of Canterbury lived for many years among Hekkiari Nestorians. The study, report and correspondence of Captain Elliot and Browne, and activities of Consul Elliot and missionaries in the Ottoman Archives, Kurdish-Nestorian, attack-looting incidents, the problems in tax collection, the archive documents we have identified regarding about Sheikh Sadig -Musa Beg were tried to be prepared.
