dc.description.abstractGen merkezi Ön Asya olan nar ağacı, kültüre alınan en eski zirai ürünlerdendir. 2015 yılı istatistiklerine göre Türkiye 445.750 ton nar üretimine sahiptir. Ülkemizin toplam nar üretimi dikkate alındığında 234.609 ve 146.080 ton ile Akdeniz ve Ege Bölgeleri ilk iki sırayı almakta olup Kuzeydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi ise 13 ton üretim ile son sırada gelmektedir. Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi, yazları sıcak ve kurak, kışları ise yağışlı, sert ve soğuk geçen bir iklime sahiptir. Turunçgiller ve muz gibi soğuğa dayanıksız olan meyveler hariç birçok meyve türünün ticari olarak yetiştiriciliğinin mümkün olduğu Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesinde (Türkiye'nin nar üretimi bakımından üçüncü büyük bölge) 2015 yılı toplam nar üretimi 51.790 ton olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Bu bölgedeki iller dikkate alındığında toplam 8.133 ve 4.096 ton nar üretimleri ile Kilis ve Gaziantep ilk iki sırayı almakta olup Batman ili 439 ton üretim ile son sırada yer almıştır. Bu çalışmada Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesinin mevcut nar üretim potansiyeli ortaya konarak bu konudaki farkındalığı artırmak ve mevcut potansiyelin değerlendirilmesi ve yönlendirilmesi ile ilgili olarak ileriye dönük üretim planlamalarında karar vericilere ışık tutmak hedeflenmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractPomegranate for which Asia Minor is the gene centre is one of the oldest cultivated agricultural products. According to 2015 statistics Turkey has 445.750 tonnes of total pomegranate production. Considering the total pomegranate production by the Regions in Turkey, Aegean and mediterranean regions rank first and second with 234.609 and 146.080 tonnes of pomegranate productions respectively as Northeastern Anatolia Region is the last with a production of 13 tonnes. Southeast Anatolia Region has a terrestrial climate with considerably hot and dry summers and wet and cold winters. According to 2015 statistics total pomegranate production was realized to be 51.790 tonnes in Southeastern Anatolia Region (Turkey’s third largest region regarding pomegranate production) where a number of fruit species can commercially be grown except for some fruit species not hardy for cold weather like citrus and bananas. Considering the 2015 year total pomegranate production of the provinces in Southeast Anatolia Region, Kilis and Gaziantep provinces rank first and second with 9.651 and 19.370 tonnes of pomegranate productions respectively as Batman province comes last with a production of 439 tonnes. In this study, through presenting the existing status of the pomegranate production potential of the Southeast Anatolia Region, it was aimed to increase the awareness and set light to decision makers in future plans for making use of and directing the existing potential.en_US
