dc.description.abstractSelective dehydration of benzyl alcohol to dibenzyl ether using a heteropoly acid as catalyst in solvent-free conditions under microwave irradiation has been studied. The microwave power and irradiation time, and concentration of heteropoly acid are key factors, and under the severe conditions dibenzyl ether was polymerized.en_US
