dc.description.abstractÇalışmanın konusunu Konya Arkeoloji Müzesi eser koleksiyonunda yer alan sekiz adet lekythos oluşturmaktadır. Bunlar; 1960, 1966, 1970, 1978 ve 1998 yıllarında satın alma yoluyla müzeye kazandırılmıştır. Müzede yer alan lekythoslar arasında siyah ve kırmızı figürlü örneklerin yanı sıra sadece siyah firnisle boyanmış bir örnekte bulunmaktadır. Lekythoslar, gövde profillerine göre omuzlu (shoulder), kaburgalı (ribbed) ve bodur (squat) olmak üzere 3 ana tipte incelenmiştir. Lekythoslar üzerinde süsleme olarak figürlü, bitkisel ve geometrik betimler görülmektedir. Değerlendirilen örnekler MÖ VI. yüzyılın sonları ile IV. yüzyılın ilk yarısına tarihlenir. Sık dokulu ve gözeneksiz, pembe ve kırmızımsı sarı tonlarında renge sahip killeri kireç ve taşçık katkılıdır. Klasik Dönem’de mezarlarda sunu esnasında kullanıldığı düşünülen lekythoslar, aynı zamanda mezarlara ölü armağanı olarak bırakılmıştır. Konya Arkeoloji Müzesi’nde bulunan lekythosların yakın benzerlerinin birçoğunun mezarlıklarda ele geçmesi, bunlarında mezar buluntusu olduklarını düşündürmektedir. Müzedeki lekythosların çoğunun stilistik açıdan özensiz işçilik ve kalitesiz firnise sahip olması, bunların Attika örneklerinin taklidi olduklarını göstermektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe subject of this study is based on eight Lekythos of the Konya Archeology Museum 's artifact collection. All of these Lekythos were purchased for the museum collection in 1960, 1966, 1970, 1978, and 1998. Among this collection of lekythos, there are samples of the black and red-figure. In addition, there is only one sample painted with black glaze. Lekythos was studied according to their body profiles as Shoulder, Rib, and squat in three main types. Decoration of this Lekythos was illustrated the figured the vegetal and geometrical depictions. According to the studies data of these Lekythos, these belonged to a wide period of time. Which started from the end of the 6th century BC to the first half of the 4th century BC. Clays with dense texture and non-porous, pink, and reddish-yellow tones are tempered with lime and stone. It is considered that the Lekythos was used during the offering in the tombs in the Classical Period, besides that it was a burial gift in the tombs. Since similar Lekythos was found intombs of necropolis, experts suggest that the Lekythos of Konya Archaeology Museum was also found in tombs. Stylistically, most of these Lekythos of Konya Archaeology Museum, are sloppy craftsmanship and low-grade glazes, which indicates that these Lekythos are imitations of Attic examples.en_US
