dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada ilkokul düzeyinde Sosyal Bilgiler öğretiminin etkililiğini ve verimliliğinietkileyebileceği düşünülerek ilkokul öğrencilerinin tarihi mekân kavramına ilişkin algılarınınbelirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemi desenlerinden olgubilim kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma grubu ise ölçüt örnekleme tekniğine görebelirlenmiştir. Buna göre 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında ilkokul 4. sınıfa devam eden 154öğrenci araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırma verileri, “Tarihi mekân..............gibidir.Çünkü.................” ifadesinin yer aldığı bir form aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde içerikanalizi tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre ilkokul öğrencileritarihi mekân kavramı ile ilgili 84 geçerli metafor üretmiştir. Bu metaforlar özelliklerine göre 11kavramsal kategori altında toplanmıştır. Bunun yanında tarihi mekân kavramı ile ilgili en fazlaüretilen metaforların; kitap, bilgi ve öğretmen olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucundailkokul öğrencilerinin tarihi mekân kavramına yönelik algılarının belirlenmesinde metaforlarınoldukça işlevsel olduğu ve Sosyal Bilgiler öğretimi açısından önemli veriler sağladığı söylenebilir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this research, primary school student’s perceptions of historical places were investigated, considering that it can affect the effectiveness of social studies teaching. In this context, the research was carried out by phenomenology which is one of the qualitative research method patterns. Criterion sampling technique was used in the selection of the working group. According to this, 154 students attending 4th grade in the 2018-2019 academic year joined in the study. Data collection is collected by means of the form, including the explanation “Historical place is like... .Because ......”. The content analysis technique was used in data analysis. According to the findings of the study, primary school students produced 84 valid metaphors for the concept related to a historical place. These metaphors are classified under 11 conceptual categories in regard to their characteristics. In addition, it was determined that the most commonly expressed metaphors for the concept of historical place by students were books, information and teachers, respectively. As a result of the research, it can be said that metaphors are very functional in determining the perception of primary school students about the concept of historical place and provide important data in terms of Social Studies teaching.en_US
