Özet

Discontinuities such as the holes in a finite plate under loading while the more stress concentrations around holes causes. Applied to the edges of plate and the different rates the principal stresses (sigma(1)/sigma(2)) around the hole were caused by the stress components (x, y) changes investigated. For biaxial stress in the plate, according to the different stress rate variation of stress intensity was obtained around the hole According to long edge (2b) and short edge (2a) of ellipse hole length the distribution of stress field occurring in the plate surfaces were are showed. Moreover, according to the plate width (H) the maximum stress value was calculated using the finite element method for different stress rates and large edge length of an ellipse. The inclination (theta=0(0), 15(0), 30(0), 45(0) and 90(0)) of ellipse hole with different geometries, according to the plate axis the maximum stress values and the stress field distribution the finite element and analytic method are obtained, and results were compared.
