Özet
Küreselleşme malların, hizmetlerin, paranın, teknolojinin, düşüncelerin, bilginin
ve kültürün hızlı ve sürekli bir biçimde sınır ötesine akışı olarak ifade edilmektedir. Sivil
toplum, devletin dışında, gönüllü oluşumlar aracılığıyla politikaların, normların, sosyal
yapıların ve kolektif çabaların etkilenmesi ve şekillendirilmesi faaliyetidir. Küresel sivil
toplum ise, küresel yönelimli olmak şartıyla gerek ulusal gerekse uluslar üstü düzeyde
etkinlik gösteren, gönüllü, kar amacı gütmeyen, bireysel veya kolektif yurttaş
girişimlerinin düşünce ve eylem alanıdır.
Küresel sivil toplum türlerini, küreselleşme yanlıları, küreselleşme karşıtları,
reformcular ve alternatif-küresel aktivistler olmak üzere dört grupta toplamak
mümkündür. Küresel STK (Sivil Toplum Kuruluşu)’lar, sosyal refah programlarına
katkı sağlamaktadırlar.
Globalisation connates the sustained and rapid flow of goods, services, technologies, thoughts, information and culture within transborder chracteristics. Civil society refers to actvities which influence and shape policies, norms, structures and collective efforts by non-governmental and voluntary formations. Global civil society – with global motives- denotes an area in which ideas and actions of individuals and collective initiatives of citizens with voluntary and non-profit orientations. It is possible to divide global civil society actors into four groups as proponents of globalisation, anti-globalisation movements, reformists and alternative-global activists. Global non-governmental organisations contribute to social welfare programmes.
