| dc.description.abstract | Terörist eylemlerin ülke ekonomilerine büyük zararlar verdiği bilinen ve tartışılmaz bir gerçektir. Terör örgütleri, terör eylemlerinin amaçları ve terörün sonuçları kitaplara, makalelere, araştırmalara ve oturumlara konu olmaktadır. Dünyada terör örgütlerinin gerçekleştirdiği eylemlerin ülke ekonomilerine olan olumsuz etkileri ve terörün maliyetleri konusunda birçok araştırma ve hesaplama yapılmış olmakla birlikte, Türkiye’de bu konuda yapılmış çok fazla bir çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Son dönemlerde bazı siyasetçilerin ve akademisyenlerin telaffuz ettiği bazı rakamlar olsa da bu konuda daha ayrıntılı çalışma yapılması ve terörün ülke ekonomisine ve gelişmesine olan zararlarının ortaya konulması ihtiyacı duyulmuştur. Terörizmle mücadele ederken terörist faaliyetlerin ülke ekonomisine etkilerinin detaylı bir şekilde ortaya konulamaması sorunun anlaşılmasını güçleştirmiştir. Bunun yanında terörist eylemler sonucunda ülke ekonomisinin karşılaşacağı etkiyi en aza indirebilmek adına alınabilecek tedbirlerin eksik kalmasına neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışma da Türkiye’de yıllardır devam etmekte olan terörün ekonomik yönden maliyetinin, ülke ekonomisi için hayati önem taşıyan ticaret, turizm, ulaştırma, sigorta, finans, tarım ve hayvancılık gibi sektörleri nasıl etkilediğinin ortaya konulması ve terörist faaliyetlerin ülke ekonomisine verebileceği zararların büyüklüğünü rakamsal ifadelerle göstermek ve eylemler sonucunda ekonomik sektörlerdeki dinamiklerin verdiği olumsuz tepki sonucunda meydana gelen aksaklıkları göstermek amaçlanmıştır. V Böylece terör örgütlerinin ve faaliyetlerinin sona erdirilmesinin, ülkenin kalkınmasına, bireylerin refah düzeylerinin artmasına yapacağı katkının gerek bilinçli gerekse bilinçsiz şekilde terör örgütlerine ve faaliyetlerine destek verenleri bir kez daha düşünmeye sevk edeceği kanaatindeyim. | dc.description.abstract | It is a known and an indisputable fact that terrorist acts cause great harm to the country's economy. Terrorist organizations, terrorist acts and terrorist purposes and results have been the subject to books, articles, research and sessions. Although many studies and calculations have been made about the negative effects and costs of terrorist acts on the country’s economy carried out by terrorist organizations, there are not many studies on this subject in Turkey. Even though there have been some figures mentioned by some politicians and academics in these days, more detailed research and to reveal the terror harm to the country’s economy and development, further study is needed. While fighting terrorism, failure to set out in detail the effects of the terrorist activities on the national economy has strengthened the understanding of the problem. Besides, result of terrorist acts cause measures that can be taken to remain incomplete to minimize the impact that the country’s economy will face. In this study, it is aimed to put forward the cost of the terrorism in the aspects of economy that continues for years; trade, tourism, transportation, insurance, finance, agriculture and livestock that are vital for the country’s economy; to show the magnitude of any potential harm of terrorist activities to the national economy with the numerical expressions and to show interruptions caused as a result of negative response to the dynamics of economic sectors occurred by actions. In this way, I think that the termination of terrorist organizations and activities will help the ones who support organizations and activities consciously or unconsciously VII think twice about the development of the country and the contribution to the welfare of individuals.
