dc.description.abstractTissue reaction to loaded stainless steel and titanium screws in bone was evaluated. These materials were implanted in each tibia of 12 rats. The animals were sacrificed at the 1(st), 3(rd) and 12(th) weeks and histopathological examination was performed. From the histological evidence obtained in this study there was no discernible difference in bone healing around stainless steel and titanium screws atl, 3 and 12 weeks after insertion.en_US
