dc.description.abstractTezimiz, Ebü'l-Ferec'in günümüze ulaşan Tefsirü Kitâbi Îsâgûcî li Furfûryûs ile Şerhu'l-Kebîr li Makûlât'ı Aristûtâlîs adlı şerhlerinin incelenmesidir. Ebü'l-Ferec'in zikredilen iki şerhinden ziyade onun yaşadığı dönem ile kendinden önceki dönemde bu iki şerhi besleyen ve ondan beslenen kaynakları tespit ederek tümünü mukayeseli bir şekilde ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Bu sayede Ebü'l-Ferec'in iki şerhinden hareketle mantığa dair görüşlerini tespit ederek mantık tarihindeki değerini belirlemeye gayret ettik. Dolayısıyla tezimizi, iki şerhin genel anlamda bu alanda yazılmış şerhlerini de kuşatacak şekilde ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Ayrıca Antikçağdan İslâm dünyasına kadar ki süreçte zikredilen iki kitaba yazılan şerhlerdeki değişim ve dönüşümün ve bu alanda tartışılan konuların nasıl çözüme kavuşturulabileceğine dair hususları çalışmamızda tespit ettik. Tezimiz giriş, üç bölüm ve bir sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Girişte, araştırmanın konusu, amacı, önemi, yöntemi ve kaynaklarını inceledik. Özellikle araştırmanın kaynakları kısmında tezimizde sıklıkla bahsettiğimiz Helenistik şarihlerin hayatlarını ve eserlerini kısaca tanıtmaya gayret ettik. Birinci bölümde, Ebü'l-Ferec'in ülkemizde çok az tanınmasından dolayı hayatını, hocalarını, öğrencilerini ve felsefe, mantık, tıp ve Hıristiyan öğretisine yönelik yazmış olduğu, şerh ve telif düzeyindeki bütün eserlerini tespit etmeye çalıştık. İkinci bölümde, Ebü'l-Ferec'in Porphyrios'un Eisagoge (Îsâgûcî) adlı eserine yazmış olduğu şerhini inceledik. Porphyrios'un metni sadece beş tümeli inceleme konusu yaparken Ebü'l-Ferec'in şerhi ve diğer şerhler, felsefeye giriş tarzında bir bölümle başlar. Biz de söz konusu şerhin, giriş dahil bütün konularını inceledik, diğer şerhlerle aralarındaki farklılıkları ve benzerlikleri ortaya koymaya gayret ettik. Üçüncü bölümde ise Ebü'l-Ferec'in, Aristoteles'in Kategoriler adlı eserine yazmış olduğu şerhi ele aldık. Şerh, bütün kategorilerin konularını kapsayacak şekilde yazılmış hacimli bir çalışmadır. Şerhte ele alınan konuları ayrıntılı bir şekilde inceleyerek çalışmamızı tamamladık. Son olarak elde ettiğimiz bulguları sonuç bölümünde zikrettik.
dc.description.abstractOur thesis is the analysis of Abû al-Faraj's commentaries called Tafsiru Kit?bi Is?gh?j? li Furf?ry?s and Sharh al-Kab?r li Maq?l?t Aristûtâlîs that have survived to the present day. Abû al-Faraj's two commentaries mentioned here dense, we tried to present all of them in a comparative way by identifying the sources that that fed these two commentaries and were fed by them in the period in which he lived and the period before him. In this way, we tried to determine his value in the history of logic by determining his views of Abû al-Faraj on logic based on his two commentaries. Therefore, we tried to present our thesis in a way that that encompasses these two commentaries and the other commentaries written in this field in general terms. In addition, we have determined in our study what kind of changes and transformations occurred in the two commentaries on these two books mentioned in the process from the Antiquity to the Islamic world and how the issues discussed in this field could be resolved. Our thesis consists of three chapters and a conclusion, excluding the introduction. In the introduction, we examined the subject, purpose, importance, method and sources of the research. In particular, we tried to introduce the lives and works of the Hellenistic commentators, which we frequently mentioned in our thesis, in the sources of the research briefly. In the first chapter, we tried to identify Abû al-Faraj's life, teachers, students and all of his works, which he wrote on philosophy, logic, medicine and Christian teaching, at the level of commentary and compilation form, since he is little known in our country. In the second chapter, we examined Abû al-Faraj's commentary on Porphyrios's work named Eisagoge (Is?gh?j?). While Porphyrius's book only deals with five universals, Abû al-Faraj's commentary and other commentaries begin with an introduction to philosophy. We also examined all the subjects of the commentary in question, including the introduction, and tried to reveal the differences and similarities between them and the other commentaries. In the third chapter, we investigate the commentary written by Abû al-Faraj on Aristotle's work called Categories. The commentary is a voluminous work written to cover the topics of all categories. We have completed our study by examining the issues discussed in the commentary in detail. Finally, we have mentioned our findings in the conclusion.
