Sulu çözeltiden kitin ve kitin türevleri ile bazı toksik boyarmaddelerin adsorpsiyonunun kinetik ve termodinamik olarak incelenmesi

Özet
Bu çalışmada sulu çözeltiden kitin ve kitin türevleri ile bazı toksik boyarmaddelerin (indigo karmen ve tripan mavisi) adsorpsiyonları sıcaklığa ve pH'a bağlı olarak incelendi. Her bir boyarmadde için farklı sıcaklıklarda elde edilen kinetik veriler Lagergren, Ho-McKay ve Weber Morris denklemlerine uygulandı ve sırasıyla bu sıcaklıklardaki adsorpsiyon hız sabitleri (kads1, kads2) ve gözenek difüzyon hız sabitleri kp belirlendi. Kitin ile indigo karmen ve tripan mavisi adsorpsiyonuna ilişkin deneysel veriler Ho-McKay denklemine uyduğundan dolayı bu denklem kullanılarak belirlenen adsorpsiyon hız sabitleri Arrhenius denklemine uygulanarak kitin ve kitin türevleri üzerinde indigo karmen ve tripan mavisi adsorpsiyonlarına ilişkin aktivasyon enerjileri (Ea) belirlendi. Ayrıca kitin ile her bir boyarmaddenin adsorpsiyonu için farklı sıcaklıklarda izoterm çalışması yapılarak izoterm eğrileri elde edildi. Kinetik ve izoterm çalışmalarından sonra, indigo karmen ve tripan mavisi adsorpsiyonu üzerine pH etkisi incelendi ve her bir boyarmadde için farklı pH'larda kinetik veriler elde edildi. Daha sonra kitin modifiye edilerek yüzey özelliği değiştirildi. Sulu çözeltiden modifiye edilmiş kitinlerle (BAC ve MAC) indigo karmen ve tripan mavisi adsorpsiyonları kinetik olarak incelendi. Her bir boyarmadde için farklı sıcaklıklarda elde edilen kinetik veriler Lagergren, Ho-McKay ve Weber Morris denklemlerine uygulandı ve sırasıyla bu sıcaklıklardaki adsorpsiyon hız sabitleri (kads1, kads2) ve gözenek difüzyon hız sabitleri kp belirlendi.
In this study the adsorptions of some toxic dyestuffs (Indigo Carmine and Trypan Blue) by chitin and modified chitin from aqueous solution were investigated as dependent on temperature and pH. Kinetical data obtained for each dyestuff at different temperatures were applied to Lagergen, Ho-McKay, Weber-Morris equations and kads,1 ,kads,2 and pore diffusion rate constants kp at these temperatures were determined respectively. Due to the adsorptions of indigo carmine and trypan blue fitted to Ho- McKay equation, adsorption rate constants obtained from this equation applied to Arrhenius equation and activation energies (Ea) related to the adsorptions of Indigo Carmine and Trypan Blue on chitin were determined. Furthermore, isotherm study for each dyestuff was done and isotherm curves at different temperatures were obtained. After kinetic and isotherm studies, the effect of pH on the adsorption of Indıgo Carmine and Trypan Blue was inhvestigated and kinetical data were obtained for each dyestffs at different pHs. Then chitin was modified and its surface property was changed. The adsorption of Indigo Carmine and Trypan Blue by modified chitin (MAC and BAC) from aqueous solution was kinetically investigated.
