dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada vasküler endotelyal büyüme faktörü (VEGF) ve reseptörleri ile vasküler endotelyal büyüme inhibitörünün (VEGI) fizyolojik rollerini daha iyi anlamak için, immünohistokimya kullanılarak anöstrustaki sıçan uterusunda bu faktörlerin hücresel lokalizasyonu araştırıldı. Çalışmanın materyalini 10 adet dişi sıçan oluşturdu. Uterustan elde edilen doku örnekleri rutin histolojik işlemler için % 10'luk formaldehitte tespit edildi. Anöstrus süresince sıçan uterusunda luminal ve bez epitel hücreleri, stromal ve düz kas hücreleri ile damarların endotel ve düz kas hücrelerinin VEGF ve reseptörleri ile pozitif immunreaksiyon gösterdiği belirlendi. Bununla beraber luminal ve bez epitel hücresinin flk1 için, aynı şekilde stromal hücrelerin de flt4 için immunoreaktivite göstermediği izlendi. Sonuç olarak VEGF ve reseptörleri ile VEGI'nın olası bir genital siklus hazırlığında fonksiyonel rollerinin olabileceği belirlendi.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, to gain a better understanding of the physiological roles of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and its receptors with vascular endothelial growth inhibitor (VEGI), were investigated cellular localization of these factors in the rat uterus during anestrus by immunohistochemistry. For this study, 10 female rats were used. Tissue samples from uterus were fixed in 10% formaldehyde for routine histological processing. Positive immunoreaction for VEGF and its receptors with VEGI was determined in the luminal and gland epithelial cells, stromal, smooth muscle cells and endothelial and smooth muscle cells of blood vessels in the rat uterus during anestrus. However, luminal and gland epithelial cells did no exhibit flk1 immunoreactivity and also stromal cells for flt4. As a result, VEGF and receptors with VEGI might be a functional roles in the preparation for a possible reproductive cycle.en_US
