dc.description.abstractÇalışmamızın amacı 17 yaşındaki Amelogenezis İmperfekta’lı hastanın tedavisini sunmaktır. Amelogenezis İmperfektanın estetik görünüm, fonksiyon, oklüzyon, fonasyon ve diş eti sağlığı üzerindeki olumsuz etkileri geleneksel yaklaşımlar ve güncel yaklaşımlarla giderilebilmektedir. Tedavi planlaması; hastanın yaşı, mine dokusundaki kayıp miktarı, estetik beklenti ve sosyoekonomik durum göz önünde bulundurularak yapılmalıdır. Hastamızın tedavisinde; ekspoze olmuş dentin varlığı, kaybedilmiş dikey boyut, aşırı protrüze maksiller keserlerin varlığı nedeniyle tam kron restorasyonlar yapılmasına karar verilmiştir. Preporotetik tedaviler sonrasında hastamızın sosyoekonomik durumu da göz önünde bulundurularak metal destekli seramik restorasyonlar yapılmıştır. Hastamıza multidisipliner bir yaklaşım neticesinde gerekli dikey boyut kazandırılmış, estetik kaynaklı sosyal kaygısı giderilmiş ve fonksiyon kaybı yerine konulmuştur. Yapılan kontroller neticesinde hastada herhangi bir fonksiyonel, estetik problemle karşılaşılmamıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of our study is to present the treatment of a 17-year-old patient with Amelogenesis Imperfecta. The adverse effects of Amelogenesis Imperfecta on aesthetic appearance, function, occlusion, phonation, and gingival health can be eliminated with traditional and current approaches. Treatment planning; It should be done considering the patients age, the amount of loss in enamel tissue, aesthetic expectation, and socioeconomic status. In the treatment of our patient, due to the presence of exposed dentin, lost vertical dimension, and excessively protruded maxillary incisors, it was decided to perform full-crown restorations. After the preprothetic treatments, metal-supported ceramic restorations were made considering the socioeconomic status of our patient. As a result of a multidisciplinary approach, our patient was given the necessary vertical dimension, his aesthetic-related social anxiety was relieved, and his loss of function was replaced. As a result of the controls, no functional or aesthetic problems were encountered in the patient.en_US
