Ortaöğretim 9-10. Sınıf Plus Deutsch A1. 1 Ders Kitabının Çokkültürlü Eğitim Bağlamında Değerlendirilmesi

| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaöğretim 9-10. Sınıf Almanca dersi Plus Deutsch A1. 1 ders kitabının çok kültürlü eğitim bağlamında değerlendirilmesine yöneliktir. Araştırmada veriler, doküman incelemesi tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Bu kapsamda, dokuman incelemeye dayalı olarak yürütülen çalışmanın veri kaynağını Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığı tarafından 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılı için gönderilen ortaöğretim 9-10. Sınıf Almanca ders kitabı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada 9-10. Sınıf Almanca dersi Plus Deutsch A1.1 ders kitabının çokkültürlü eğitime dayalı uygulamaları ne derece yansıttığı belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, etnik kimlik, din ve sosyal yapı gibi temaların ve farklı kültürleri tanıma, yemek, gelenek ve görenek gibi alt temaların ders kitabında gerek okuma parçalarında, gerekse etkinliklerde ve özellikle görsel materyallerde sıklıkla yer verildiği belirlenmiştir. Ancak, engellilik, toplumsal cinsiyet gibi temalara ders kitabında sınırlı bir şekilde yer verildiği, azınlık ve cinsel yönelim gibi bazı temalara ise hiç yer verilmediği tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonunda Plus Deutsch A1.1 ders kitabının çokkültürlü eğitim temaları açısından olumlu yönleri olmasının yanında geliştirilmesi gereken yönlerinin de olduğu görülmektedir. Almanca ders kitabında çokkültürlü eğitim açısından yetersiz kalan temalarla ilişkili olarak düzenlemeler yapılabilir, ayrıca çokkültürlü eğitimle alakalı etkinliklerin, diyalogların, görsellerin vb. sayısı arttırılabilir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to evaluate the high school 9-10th grade German course, Plus Deutsch A1.1, in the context of multicultural education. In the research, data were collected by document analysis technique. In this scope, the data source for the study conducted based on document analysis is the high school 9-10th grade German course book sent by the Ministry of National Education Board of Curriculum and Discipline for the 2022-2023 academic year. The research aims to determine to what extent the 9-10th grade German course, Plus Deutsch A1.1, reflects applications based on multicultural education. The study utilized the qualitative research method of document analysis. As a result of the research, it was determined that themes such as ethnic identity, religion, and social structure, as well as sub-themes like recognizing different cultures, food, traditions, and customs, are frequently present in the reading passages, activities, and especially visual materials of the course book. However, it was observed that certain themes like disability and gender are only briefly covered in the course book, and topics such as minorities and sexual orientation are not addressed at all. At the end of the research, it is evident that while the Plus Deutsch A1.1 course book has positive aspects in terms of multicultural education themes, there are areas that need improvement as well. Adjustments could be made to the themes that fall short in terms of multicultural education in the German course book, and furthermore, the number of activities, dialogues, visuals, etc. related to multicultural education could be increased. | |
