dc.description.abstractAnadolu’yu Mezopotamya’ya bağlayan Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi, verimli toprakları, stratejik konumu ve topoğrafyasının uygunluğu nedeniyle tarih boyunca her medeniyetin sahip olmak ve yerleşmek istediği bir bölgedir. Bölgede günümüze ulaşan tarihi ve kültürel değerlerin birbirini takip eden uygarlıkların bir önceki dönemden edindiği kültürel değer ve birikimleri, diğer kültürlerle etkileşim içine girerek, onları geliştirerek, yenilerini ekleyerek geleceğe aktarmada bir süreklilik oluşturur. Bölge kentlerinden olan Gaziantep tarihte uzun ve süreklilik arz eden bir biçimde pek çok medeniyete ev sahipliği yapmış bir yerleşim merkezidir. Kent binlerce yıllık doğal, tarihsel ve arkeolojik alanlar ile iç içe yer almaktadır. Antep’de günümüze ulaşan hamamlar kentin mimari ve kültür birikimini taşıyan yapılardır. Bu çalışmada, yıkanma mekanının konut içine dahil olması ile işlevlerini büyük oranda kaybeden geleneksel Antep hamamlarının mimari ve kültürel bellekte korunması ve sürdürülebilirliğinin sağlanmasının amacıyla yapılan belgeleme çalışması paylaşılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractSoutheastern Anatolia Region, which connects Anatolia to Mesopotamia, is a region that every civilization wanted to have and settle throughout history due to its fertile lands, strategic location and topography. The cultural values and accumulation of the historical and cultural values that have survived in the region from the previous period of the civilizations that follow each other create a continuity in interacting with other cultures, developing them and adding new ones to the future. Gaziantep, which is one of the regional cities, is a settlement center that has hosted many civilizations in a long and continuing history. The city is intertwined with thousands of years of natural, historical and archaeological sites. The baths that reach today in Antep are the structures that carry the architectural and cultural accumulation of the city.In this study, the documentation study has been shared to protect the traditional Antep baths, which have lost their functions with the inclusion of the bathing room in the housing, in architectural and cultural memory and to ensure their sustainability.en_US
