dc.description.abstractDerin ven trombozu (DVT) bir ekstremitenin venlerini aniden tıkayan ve nekroza kadar ilerleyebilen akut venöz trombozdur. DVT gelişimi mortalité ve morbidité üzerine direkt etkili olduğundan özellikle yaşİK hastalarda, prognozu etkileyen en önemli etmenlerden biri olarak değerlendirilmektedir. DVT1 nin risk faktörleri 1842'de Virchow tarafından staz, ven duvarında hasar, hiperkoagülabiliteden oluşan bir triad olarak tanımlanmıştır. DVT kuşkusu olan olgularda yapılan venografik ve doppler USG karşılaştırmalı çalışmalarda doppler USG' in üstünlüğü kanıtlanmıştır. DVT yaşam kalitesini olumsuz etkilediği gibi tedavisinde ciddi sağlık harcamalarına neden olur. Özellikle yaşlı hastalarda, prognozu etkileyen en önemli faktörlerden biri olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Biz bu çalışmamızda, DVT olgusunu literatür ışığında tartışmayı amaçladık. Bireylerin sağlık konusunda etkili bir biçimde bilgilendirilmesi gerektiğini ve hastalara gereken tıbbı müdahalelerin ehli olmayan kişiler tarafından yapılması durumunda üzücü sonuçlara neden olabileceğini vurgulamak istedik.en_US
dc.description.abstractDeep venous thrombosis (DVT) is an acute venous thrombosis which suddenly clogs the veins of an extremity and can lead to necrosis. Since DVT directly affects mortality and morbidity, it is regarded as one of the most important prognostic factors, especially in the elderly. The risk factors of DVT were defined in 1842 by Virchow as the triad of stasis, vessel wall injury and hypercoagulability. In the comparitive studies conducted in cases with DVT, Doppler USG has been found to be superior to venography. Besides affecting the quality of life negatively, DVT also causes significant health expenditures. Especially in the elderly, it is considered to be one of the most important factors which affect mortality. In this study, we aimed to evaluate a DVT case in the light of the literature. We wanted to emphasize that individuals need to be thoroughly informed about their health and that sad outcomes may occur when medical interventions are performed by unauthorised persons.en_US
