dc.description.abstractGout disease is a common reason for acute arthritis cases. It can appear in different clinical versions. Recurring acute arthritis attacks, formation of tophaceus around the joint and other connective tissue (especially seen at the first metatarsophalangeal joint and earlobe), uric acid stones and gout nephropathy are the most commonly encountered. Besides it has been seen in elder ages and on men with 95% rates, when it is identified on women, the 90% of them are post-menopausal women. As well as causing the renal disease, it has been told that the gout could contribute the development of the chronic renal failure. However, it has not done a certain distinction regarding the facts that the gout has expanded related to chronic renal failure and the nephropathy growth after the gout in literature works. In this case, the progress of nephropathy with hipopotasemia on a post-menopause woman who has got chronic tophaceus gout and chronic renal failure has been found important to be discussed
dc.description.abstractGut, akut artritin sik görülen bir nedenidir. Farkli klinik sekillerde karsimiza çikabilir. Tekrarlayan akut artrit ataklari, eklem çevresi ile diger bag dokularda tofüs olusumu (özellikle birinci metatarsofalangial eklem ile kulak kepçesinde görülür), ürik asit taslari ve gut nefropatisi bunla rdan en sik görülenleridir. Ileri yaslarda ve %95 erkeklerde görülmekle beraber, kadinlarda ise %90 postmenopozal kadinlarda saptanir. Gut böbrek hastaligina neden olmakla beraber, kronik böbrek yetmezligi (KBY) gelisimine de katkida bulunabilecegi daha az siklikla bildirilmistir. Bununla beraber literatür çalismalarinda gut’un KBY’ye bagli gelistigi veya gut sonrasi nefropati gelistigi ile ilgili kesin bir ayirim yapilmamistir. Burada kronik tofüslü gut ile beraber KBY’i bulunan postmenopozal bir kadinda nefropatinin hipopotasemi ile seyretmesi tartisilmaya deger bulundu
