| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Ebû Ahmed Talhâ el-Muvaffak-Billâh, Abbâsî halifesi Mütevekkil-Alallâh’ın oğludur. Babasının ordu mensupları tarafından öldürülmesinden sonra özellikle kardeşi Mu‘tez-Billâh’ın hilafete çıkma mücadelesinde çok gayret göstermiş ve askerî başarılarıyla ön plana çıkmıştır. Mu‘tez-Billâh’ın bir darbe ile devrilerek öldürülmesinden sonra Muhtedî-Billâh hilafete çıkarılmış, bunun üzerine Muvaffak gözetim altına alınarak Mekke’ye sürülmüştür. Halife Muhtedî-Billâh’ın da bir askerî müdahaleyle devrilmesi sonucunda Mu’temid-Alallâh hilafete çıkarılmıştır. Bu süreçte Abbâsîler’de istikrarsızlık hâkim olmuş, isyanların önü alınamamıştır. Bunun üzerine Muvaffak-Billâh halife olan kardeşi Mu’temid-Alallâh tarafından bir kurtarıcı olarak çok geniş yetkilerle başkumandanlık görevine getirilmiş ve çok zor bir süreçte hem siyasî hem de askerî alanda başarılı icraatlar yapmıştır. Bu çerçevede zenci kölelerin isyanını bastırmış ve Yakup b. Leys sorununu çözmüştür. Onun gayretli çabaları sonucu ülkede istikrar sağlanmış, merkezi otorite güçlenmiş ve Abbâsî başkentinin Sâmerrâ’dan Bağdat’a taşınmasına zemin hazırlanmıştır. Muvaffak-Billâh, siyasî ve askerî alanda Abbâsî tarihinde çok önemli başarılara imza atmıştır. Ancak böylesi önemli ve etkili bir şahsiyetle ilgili alanda yeteri kadar araştırma bulunmamaktadır. Bundan dolayı Muvaffak-Billâh’ın Abbâsî tarihindeki yeri ve önemi ile ilgili bütüncül, müstakil bir çalışmayla konunun aydınlatılıp alana katkı sunulması hedeflenmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: Abu Ahmed Talha al-Muwaffak-Billah is the son of Abbasid caliph Mutawakkil-Alallâh. After his father was killed by members of the army, he showed great effort especially in the struggle for the caliphate of his brother Mu'tez-Billah and came to the fore with his military successes. After the caliph Mu'tez-Billah was overthrowned and killed because of staging a coup, Muvaffak-Billâh was taken into custody and exiled to Mecca and the Muhtedi-Billah was appointed as the caliphate. Likewise, Mühtedi-Billah was also encounter a coup resulted in his overthrown and leaded Mu'temid-Alallâh to became new caliph. In this process, instability prevailed, and rebellions could not be prevented. Therefore, he was seen as a saviour by his brother Mu'temid-Alallâh, who was the successful caliph, and was appointed as the commander-in-chief with very wide powers, and he performed successful actions both in the political and military fields in a very difficult process. In this context, he suppressed the rebellion of the black slaves, and Yakup b. Leys He solved the problem of. As a result of his diligent efforts, stability was achieved in the country, the central authority was strengthened, and the groundwork was prepared for the Abbasid capital to be moved from Samarra to Baghdad. The political and military achievements of Muwaffak-Billâh were very important in the history of Abbasids. However, the studies about such an important figure are sparse in the field. Particularly, the scarcity of studies on the subject in our country lead us to work on this subject. In the current study, we aim to contribute to the field by revealing the place and importance of Muwaffak-Billâh in the history of Abbasids in detail. | en_US |
