dc.description.abstractAmaç: Bu çalışma, Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hemşireliği dersinin uygulamasına çıkan üçüncü sınıf hemşirelik bölümü öğrencilerinin çocuk sevme durumlarını ve etkileyen faktörleri incelemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı çalışma tasarımı kullanılmıştır.Yöntem: Araştırmanın verileri literatür bilgisinden yararlanılarakaraştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve“Barnett Çocuk Sevme Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplanmıştır.Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelik bölümü üçüncü sınıföğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 19,00±22,01’dir. Öğrenci hemşirelerin %58,9’unun kadın olduğu, kardeş sayısının ise 5,484±2,479olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin çocuk sevme ölçeğinden aldığıpuan ortalaması 83,153±15,282 olarak bulunmuştur. Öğrencihemşirelerin %81,1’i çocuk kliniğini sevdiğini, %55,8’i ise çocuksağlığı ve hastalıkları hemşireliği dersinin uygulamasına ilk defaçıktıklarından dolayı tedirginlik ve stres hissettiklerini belirtmişlerdir. Öğrencilerin çocuk sevme ölçeği puan ortalaması ile cinsiyetleri ve çocuk kliniğinde çalışmayı isteme durumu arasındaanlamlı bir farklılık saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Öğrencilerin kardeşsayısı ile çocuk sevme ölçeği puan ortalaması arasında anlamlı birilişki olduğu (p<0,05), kardeş sayısı azaldıkça çocuk sevme ölçeğipuan ortalamasının arttığı bulunmuştur. Çocuk kliniklerinde çalışmayı isteyen öğrenci hemşirelerin, çocuk sevme tutumları yüksekbulunmuştur (p<0,05).Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, öğrenci hemşirelerin çocuk sevme durumupuan ortalaması yüksek bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin kadın olması,kardeş sayısının az olması çocuk kliniğinde çalışmayı istemeleriçocuk sevme durumlarını olumlu yönde etkilediği bulunmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractObjective: This study was conducted to examine the status of liking children of the third grade nursing students who have taken the applied course of the pediatric nursing, and the factors effecting their liking status of children. Method: Data of the study was collected by a “Personal Information Form” prepared by the researcher using the literature, and “Barnett Liking of Children Scale”. Results: The mean age of the third grade nursing students participating in the study was 19.00±22.01 years. While 58.9% of the nursing students was female and the mean number of the siblings was 5.484±2.479. The mean score obtained by the students from the liking of children scale was found to be 83.153±15.282. While 81.1% of the nursing students stated that they liked the pediatric clinic, 55.8% of them felt apprehension and stressful because it was the first time they took the applied course of the pediatric nursing. A significant difference was found between the average score of the students’ liking of children scale and their gender and desire to work in the pediatric clinic (p<0.05). It was also found that there was a significant correlation between the number of siblings of the nursing students and average score of liking of children scale of the students (p<0.05), whereas the average score of liking of children scale increased as the number of the siblings decreased. Nursing students who want to work in child clinics, average liking of children scale score was found to be high (p<0.05). Conclusion: As a result, the average score of the nursing students’ liking of children scale was found to be high. It was found that nursing students’ desire to work in a children’s clinic, their being women, and having a small number of siblings exerted a favourable impact on their liking for children.en_US
