| dc.description.abstract | Yoksulluk bilinen en eski sosyal sorunların ilk sırasında gelmektedir. Yoksulluk özellikle neoliberal politikalar ve küreselleşmenin etkisiyle daha da derinleşen bir soruna dönüşmüştür. Pek sorunu da yaratma potansiyeline sahip kilit bir sorun olduğundan yoksulluğun ortadan kaldırılmasına dönük çalışmalar her zaman gündemde ilk sıralarda yer almıştır. Yoksulluğun ortadan kaldırılmasında sosyal yardımlar dünya ölçeğinde kullanılan en etkin yöntemdir. Türkiye’de de 1950’lerle başlayan kente doğru yaşanan büyük ölçekli göç hareketleri kent nüfusunda ciddi bir artışa neden olmuş ve yoksulluğu önlemek ve etkilerini azaltmak pek çok yasal düzenleme yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmaların çoğu yoksulluğu ortadan kaldırma amacından çok etkilerini azaltma misyonuna hizmet etmiştir. Bu çalışma kapsamında yoksulluk kavramının içeriği bazı tarihsel olaylarla birlikte aktarılmış, Türkiye’de yoksulluğu önleme odağında yapılan çalışmalardan bahsedilmiş ve bu çalışmalar içinde sosyal hizmetlerin yeri ve önemine değinilmiştir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Poverty is one of the oldest known social problems. Poverty has become a deepening problem, especially with the effect of neoliberal policies and globalization. Since it is a key problem that has the potential to create many problems, efforts to eradicate poverty have always been on the top of the agenda.The fact that there is so much work in the solution of the poverty problem is closely related to the fact that poverty brings along many problems. Social aids are the most effective method used worldwide for poverty eradication. Turkey also experienced large-scale migration to urban movement began in the 1950s led to a significant increase in urban population. This has led many legal regulations to prevent and reduce the effects of poverty. Most of these efforts served to reduce the impact of poverty rather than eliminate it.In this study, the concept of poverty has been explained with some historical events. Efforts and social services to prevent poverty have been analyzed in these studies. | |
