Özet
This study aims to investigate views of students about computer assisted instructional materials (CAIM) developed for teaching on the subject of quadratic functions which is included in 10th grade mathematics curriculum. The study was employed with 37 students. Case study method was used in this study. In the present study, the following data collection instruments were used: the form of evaluation of computer assisted instructional materials. The data were collected with Computer Assisted Material Evaluation fore developed by researcher which included 22 items. The data obtained were analyzed using frequencies, percentages and means were calculated for each group. As a result of the study, students were found to have positive views about the introduction and appearance dimensions of CAIM. It was also determined that the introduction of the CAIM was sufficient, the use of the material was understandable and the developed materials were visually well-designed. Another result obtained from the study indicates that CAIM saved the instruction from being monotonous, drew students' interests and helped them better engage in the lesson-and made the lesson more fluent. It was concluded that, the students have no problem regarding the programming dimension, they easily entered and exited the programs, used the time efficiently and the typed values appeared in the screen without error.
