dc.description.abstractGünümüzde, küreselleşmenin ürettiği teknik, ekonomik ve sosyal koşullar ile özellikle küresel kuzeyle küresel güney arasında giderek derinleşen eşitsizlik, göç hareketlerini coğrafî yayılım, nüfus ölçüleri ve biçimsel çeşitlilik bakımından, tarihte hiç olmadığı kadar geliştirmekte, insanlık tarihinin başlangıcından itibaren, savaş, afet, kuraklık-kıtlık ve ekonomik sorunlar gibi etkenlerle süregelen mevcut insan hareketliliklerine, finansal göç, teknolojik göç, iklim göçü, eğitim göçü ve sağlık göçü gibi yeni göç türleri eklenmektedir. Göç hareketlerinde yaşanan biçimsel değişme ve çeşitlenme ile coğrafî yaygınlaşma, insan ve toplum bilimlerinde özellikle göçe ilişkin disiplinlere de yansımakta, ortaya çıkan yeni göç tiplerini ve boyutlarını anlama ihtiyacı, yeni araştırma alanları ve yöntemleriyle birlikte yeni kuramsal yaklaşımlar ve önermeler de geliştirilmesine neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışma, günümüzde nüfus hareketlerinde gerçekleştiği gözlenen değişikliklerin, ortaya çıkan yeni boyutların ve biçimlerin göç kuramları üstündeki etkilerini ve bu kapsamda uluslararası göçün sürekliliğini sağlayan etkenlere odaklanan güncel bir kuramsal önerme olarak geliştirilen Göçmen İlişki Ağları Kuramı’nı incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractToday, the technical, economic and social conditions produced by globalization, and especially, growing inequality between the global north and the global south, develops migration movements more than ever before in terms of geographical spread, population size and formal diversity, and new types of migration such as financial migration, technological migration, climate migration, educational migration and health migration are being added to the current human mobility that has been going on with factors such as war, disaster, droughtfamine and economic problems since the beginning of human history. The typical change and diversification, and geographical expansion in migration movements, is also reflected in the disciplines related to migration in human and social sciences, the need to understand the emerging new types and dimensions of migration leads to the development of new theoretical approaches and propositions along with new research areas and methods. This study aims to examine the effects of the changes observed and new dimensions and forms existed in population movements on migration theories, and in this context, Migration Networks Theory, which was developed as a current theoretical proposition focusing on the factors that ensure the continuity of international migration.en_US
