| dc.description.abstract | Bu tezde, lineer olmayan değişimsel ve dalga denklemleri çözmek için iyi bilinen Hiperbolik Tanjant (Tanh) yöntemini inceledik. Tanh yöntemi bir boyutlu yönlendirilmiş dalga çözümlerinin hesaplanmasnda kullanılan çok güçlü bir çözüm yöntemidir. Bu yöntem çözümlerin sonlu bir hiperbolik tanjant kuvvet serisi şeklinde yazılabilmesine dayanır. Lineer olmayan terimlerin lineer terimlere eşitlenmesiyle seri açılımının derecesi belirlenmiştir. Sınır şartlarının uygulanması ile yönlendirilmiş dalganın hızı elde edilebilir. Yöntemin gücünü göstermek için iyi bilinen bazı lineer olmayan kısmi diferansiyel denklemler çözülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, aynı yöntem ile lineer olmayan kısmi diferansiyel denklem sistemlerinin çözülebileceği gösterilmiştir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, we apply well known The Hyperbolic Tangent (Tanh) method to solve the nonlinear evolution and wave equations. The tanh method is a powerful solution method for the computation of onedimnsional travelling wave solutions. This technique is based on the fact that solutions may be written as a finite power series of a hyperbolic tangent. Balancing the nonlinear terms against the linear ones gives the order of the series expansion. Boundary conditions can be implemented with the velocity of the travelling wave solutions . To show the strength of the method some well known nonlineer partial differantial equations are solved. Finally, it will be shown that the same method also can be used to solve systems of nonlinear partial differential equations. | |
