dc.description.abstractThis chapter presents and highlights the latest progress in the synthesis andapplications of conductive polymers and their nanocomposites as powerfulsorbents in different sample preparation techniques including solid-phaseextraction, solid-phase microextraction, dispersive solid-phase extraction, andmagnetic solid-phase extraction. The review covers the extraction of heavy metalsand organic analytes from various food, environmental, and biological samplessuch as water, urine, and blood. In addition, electrochemical electrodes based onCPs and their composites are also summarized.en_US
