Özet
In this study, a computer program for mining engineering education is introduced. The program, which is called as OPENPIT V0.3, is compiled by using Visual Basic 6 in order to get an interactive interface. In the software, cross section of an orebody or a coal seam is shown at a window where user can excavate the orebody. The software covers all the mining and economical parameters as much as possible. These parameters can be changed easily by the user in order to see the effects of these parameters on the operation and costs.
