Ten lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.) genotypes were grown at Southeast Anatolia region of Turkey. The broadsense heritability was estimated for plant height, number of stems and pods per plant, seed yield, biological yield, 100-seed weight, days to flowering and maturity. The heritability for days to flowering and maturity, 1000 seed weight and number of seeds plant-1 were estimated as 71%, 80%, 98% and 70%, respectively. The heritability of plant height was quite small (16%); indicating that this trait is depend heavily on the variation available in the source material and of the effects of climate and weather.en_US
