Özet
Öz: Yapılardaki değişim ihtiyacının hiç bitmemesi sonucu esneklik kavramı ortaya
çıkmıştır. Yapıların aktif olarak kullanılabilmesi için uygun düzenlemelerle değişen
koşullara uyum sağlayabilmesi gerekmektedir. Yaşam boyu devam eden eğitimin
önemli bir parçası olan kütüphanelerde değişen teknoloji ve eğitim sistemi sonucu
mimari açıdan yetersizlikler ortaya çıkmıştır. Yetersizliklerin mevcut yapı
korunarak giderilebilmesi için esnekliğin sağlanması gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda
çalışma alanı olarak seçilen Dicle Üniversitesi Ali Emiri Merkez Kütüphanesi’nin
güncel gereksinimler doğrultusunda kullanıcının isteklerini ne ölçüde karşıladığı
araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada literatür araştırması, yerinde inceleme ve fotoğraflama
yöntemlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Yapıda esneklik gerektiren alanların tespit
edilmesi için kullanıcı ölçeğinde değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda
elektronik ortamda Dicle Üniversitesi Ali Emiri Merkez Kütüphanesi’nin
kullanıcılarına, Likert ölçek türüne göre hazırlanan anket uygulanmıştır. Anketten
elde edilen veriler istatistik programı “IBM SPSS 26” ile analiz edilip
değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularında, az kullanılan alanların esnek
tasarım yaklaşımıyla yapıya yeniden kazandırılması gerektiği, sık kullanılan
alanların da kullanıcı ihtiyaç ve isteklerine göre düzenlenip genişletilmesi gerektiği
görülmüş ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
Abstract: The concept of flexibility has emerged as a result of the fact that the need for change in structures never ends. In order for the structures to be actively used, they must be able to adapt to changing conditions with appropriate arrangements. Architectural inadequacies have emerged as a result of changing technology and education system in libraries, which are an important part of lifelong learning. Flexibility must be provided in order to eliminate inadequacies by preserving the existing structure. In this context, the extent to which Dicle University Ali Emiri Central Library, which was selected as a study area, meets the user's requests in line with current requirements was investigated. In the study, literature research, onsite examination and photographing methods were used. In order to identify the areas requiring flexibility in the structure, an evaluation was made at the user scale. In this direction, an electronic questionnaire prepared according to the Likert scale type was applied to the users of Dicle University Ali Emiri Central Library. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed and evaluated with the "IBM SPSS 26" statistical program. In the findings of the study, it was seen that the underused areas should be reintroduced to the structure with a flexible design approach, and the frequently used areas should be arranged according to the needs of the user.
