Özet
Sağ gözünde az görme şikayetiyle kliniğimize başvuran, beş yıl önce gözüne alçı ve kireç karışımına maruz kalan hastanın biyomikroskopik muayenesinde vaskülarize korneal lökom tespit edildi. Hastanın görme keskinliği el hareketi düzeyindeydi. Limbal hücre yetmezliği olan hastaya önce amniyon membran transplantasyonu ile birlikte diğer gözünden otolog limbal kök hücre transplantasyonu yapıldı. Kontrollerinde görme keskinliği 2 metreden parmak sayma (mps) düzeyine ulaşan hastada santral korneal alanda iz tespit edil-mesi üzerine ikinci bir ameliyatla penetran keratoplasti, amniyon membran transplantasyonu ve otolog limbal kök hücre transplantasyonu işlemi yapıldı. Postoperatif üçüncü ay kontrolünde hastanın görme keskinliğinin Snellen eşeline göre 0,15 düzeyine yükseldiği tespit edildi.
The patient complaining low vision on his right eye applied to our clinic. On the biomicroscopic exam vascularized corneal leukoma was detected. The patient’s eye had an exposure to plaster and lime mixture five years ago. His visual acuity on the right eye was hand movements. Amniotic membrane transplantation and autologous limbal stem cell transplantation from the fellow eye was performed to the patient with limbal stem cell deficiency. Central corneal scar persisted during follow up, however his vision increased to finger count from 2 meters. After 6 months penetrating keratoplasty and autologous limbal stem cell transplantation with amniotic membrane transplantation were performed in the second surgery session. After 3 months from the second surgery, the patient had a clear corneal graft and his visual acuity increased to 0.15 on decimal scale.
