Özet
Günümüzde insanlar değişen sosyal ve ekonomik durumlarına paralel bir tutum sergileyerek deniz turizmi kadar eko turizm ve kültürel turizme de ilgi göstermeye başladığından kültürel mirası deneyimlemek amacıyla yapılan turizme her geçen gün ilgi artmaktadır. Ulusal ve uluslararası alanda ülkelerin ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel gelişimine katkı sağlayan kültürel turizmin sürdürülebilir olması elzemdir. Kültürel turizmde sürdürülebilirlilik ancak miras için gerekli koruma ve restorasyon çalışmalarının yapılması ile mümkündür. Kültürel açıdan özgün değerleri ile turistlere değişik imkânlar sunan, birçok kültürel mirasa sahip Şanlıurfa kentinde, yapıldığı dönemde ticaret veya konaklama amaçlı kullanılan fakat günümüzde daha çok ticaret yapılan hanlar, turistler için uğrak noktalarını oluşturmaktadır. Restore edilerek yeniden işlevlendirilen Barutçu Hanı, somut ve somut olmayan kültürel mirasın bütüncül olarak görülmesine olanak sağlayarak günümüzde çok sayıda turisti ağırlamaktadır. Bu çalışma ile kültürel turizm içerisinde kültürün kendine özgü değerlerinin korunmasını ve sürdürülebilirliğini, Şanlıurfa Barutçu Hanı örneğinde irdelemektir.
Today, tourism areas are diversifying according to the changing social, cultural and economic conditions of people, and they are directed to different areas such as eco and cultural tourism. In this study, it is aimed to examine cultural tourism in the example of Barutçu Han located in the city of Şanlıurfa, which has many unique values. Sustainability of cultural tourism, which contributes to the economic, social and cultural development of countries in the national and international arena, is possible with the protection and restoration of cultural heritage. Barutçu Han, located in Şanlıurfa, was restored by giving it a new function and its sustainability was ensured. Thus, it has become the focal point of the city by offering different opportunities to tourists with its culturally unique values and welcomes many tourists. The aim of the study is to reveal the importance of the preservation and sustainability of the unique values of the culture in cultural tourism. For this purpose, in the first stage, literature search were made to learn the original architectural features and historical background of the building, and on-site observation and photography were made to determine the current use of the building. As a result of the study, it has been understood that when cultural heritage is given a new function in accordance with today's conditions, it both protects cultural heritage and contributes to cultural tourism.
