Öğe The effect of some local agricultural wastes over the yield duration and amount on the culture of Pleurotus ostreatus jacq. P. Kumm.(Dicle Üniversitesi, 2018) Gürsoy, Necla; Ünal, Arzu; Yeşil, Ömer Faruk; Malkoç, Semra; Yıldız, AbdunnasırPistaciavera peduncle PVP , wheat straw WS and cotton straw CS , were used as raw materials in this study. Fort that reason, the trial groups of PVP and WS have been prepared as 1:1 and no additive was added to these trial groups. Trial groups were created by adding of 5% rice hawk RH , cotton seed husk CSH and wheat hawk WH as additive to 3:1 mixture of PVP, WS and CS. The shortest duration of mycelium growing days MGD of P. ostreatus: is 11.0 days in the environments of %100WS A1 , %50PVP+%50WS A2 , %5CSH+%50CS+%50PVP B1 , %5CSH+%75WS+%25PVP B2 , %5CSH+%50WS+%50PVP C1 and %5WH+%50WS+%50PVP D1 ; the longest duration is 14.0 days in %75BS+%25AFS A3 , %5PTK+%75BS+%25AFS C2 , %5BK+%75BS+%25AFS D2 and %AFS E . The lowest and highest amounts of total yield TY obtained from 100 g. of moist compost through four harvests are 11.6 g. in E and 19.2 g. in D2 respectively. The lowest and highest proportion value of protein in compost samples containing an average of 70% moisture after production are 2.75 % in A1 and 14.13 % in C2 respectively. This paper showed the usability of pistachio bunch and cotton stalk in P. ostreatus culture besides wheat stalk which is widely produced in South Eastern Anatolia. The usage of the waste of these agricultural wastes provides easy access to the local raw materials for P. ostreatus culture. They only live in Şanlıurfa – Birecik in Anatolia. They are considered to be extinct in nature. They are attempted to be preserved in cages for long years. 1977 In the beginning of reproductive period they are released to nature. They perform their reproduction naturally outdoors. They are taken into cages at the end of reproductive period. No studies have been performed related with the reproduction of Birecik Northern Bald Ibises for long years. In this study, the gap in terms of reproduction field was tried to be filled. 1-2 days long research per week was conducted in reproductive period. In the beginning of March 2013, 152 bald ibis birds were released to nature. The couples which paired in the cages preserved their nests starting from their first days in nature. Incubation realized in 34 nests out of existing 42. In the beginning the number of number of nestlings per nest was 60/29= 2,06. Three nestlings were observed in 9 nests. 2 nestlings were observed in 13 nests. The number of flying nestlings per nest was 38/29= 1,31. The status of being unsuccessful in rock nest or wooden nest in bald ibis breeding station changed in a statistically significant way according to the observation frequencies in nest types. Chi-Square=10,211; p=0,006 . At the end of June 2013, number of counted northern bald ibis nestlings was 165. 34 of these were nestlings of year 2013. Six bald ibis birds were released for immigration with GPS attached . Number of Northern Bald Ibises in the cages was 159. In this study, examining of the quality traits protein content, gluten content, zeleny sedimentation and grain hardness of breeding materials and determination of availability as breeding material were investigated. While the increase of nitrogen doses protein and gluten content have a positive effect, zeleny sedimentation and grain hardness have just effected up to moderate nitrogen level. The cultivar Spagetti showed positive and high general combining ability GCA effects for zeleny sedimentation and grain hardness at moderate N level. Also it was the best combiner for zeleny sedimentation and grain hardness at moderate N level The Menceki was best combiner for GCA effects for protein content and gluten content at moderate N level. Hybrids 1x4 and 4x6 showed positive specific combining ability SCA effects for protein content, zeleny sedimentation and grain hardness at moderate N level. these varieties had best SCA effects for protein content, zeleny sedimentation and grain hardness at moderate N levelÖğe The effect of dıfferent hormone concentratıons on anther culture and embryo formatıon ın vıtro condıtıons ın cotton gossypıum spp.(Dicle Üniversitesi, 2017) Korkunç, Medet; Bardak, Adem; Ekinci, Remzi; Haliloğlu, KamilThe aim of the study is taking the anthers obtained from immature squares to culture in appropriate medium by using the anther culture technique in cotton and ensuring that the shoots grow into plantlet from previously obtained embryos. Aşkabat-100 Gossypium barbadense L. , Coker-312 and Stoneville-468 Gossypium hirsutum L. were studied for callus induction. In the research, cotton anthers taken from immature flower buds of different lengths 2, 3, 4, 5 mm were used. In the initiated cultures; in different length anthers, in Aşkabat100 type, the maximum rate of embyroid callus obtained is at 2 mm 97.00 , in the Stoneville-468 type at 5 mm length 72.63 and in the Coker-312 anther the highest rate of embryoid callus formation obtained is at 3 mm anther length 55.80 . As a result of the research, Aşkabat-100 type produced the best results for embryoid callus, embryoid and embryo formation. For embryogenic calluses later turning into embryoids, the most suitable values are measured in non-hormone 90.73 0.1-0.5 mg/l kinetin supplemented 76.00-61.60 and 2.0 mg/l 2,4-D supplemented 97.00 medium. The highest embryo and shoot development were obtained in medium containing 66.47 0.5 mg/l kinetin. Embryo images for globular, heart, torpedo and kotiledon phases are obtained. Çalışmada kullanılan türler önce mikrodalga çözünürleştirme işleminde derişik nitrik asit ve hidrojen peroksit ilave edilerek yakma işlemi yapılmıştır. Daha sonra elde edilen çözelti son hacim 100 mL olacak şekilde seyreltilmiş ve ICP-MS ile analiz edilmiştir. Aynı cinsin farklı türlerinin element içerikleri birbiriyle karşılaştırılmıştır. Ayrıca, bu çalışmada metot validasyon çalışması yapılmıştır.Öğe Evaluation of Grain Color and Protein Content in F5 Durum Wheat Triticum durum Desf. populations(Dicle Üniversitesi, 2016) Kızılgeçi, Ferhat; Akıncı, Cuma; Albayrak, Önder; Biçer, Behiye Tuba; Yıldırım, MehmetThis study was conducted to determine grain yield, SPAD, protein content and grain colors and evaluate this traits in plant selection by using F5 durum wheat populations. Fifteen different hybrid combinations was used as material. This research was conducted with randomized complete block design with 3 replications during 2011-2012 growing season. The values ranged in hybrid between 69-7.51 g/plant in grain yield, 43.2-49.7 in SPAD , %14.8-15.9 in protein content, 41.18-45.66 in L value and 14.92-16.71 in b value. The hybrid of Spagetti x Levante took over in terms of grain yield, while the hybrid of Mersiniye x Levante have priority for SPAD, protein content, L value and b value. This combinations were found to have potential for new cultivar improvement via single plant selection. Positive and significant correlation was obtained between protein content and L according to correlation analysis. According to the results of the study, high yielding genotypes can be selected from some of F5 hybrid combinations but the selection of genotypes which have high yield and quality contaning a combination of genotypes selection are expected to be to low possibilityÖğe Determination of the harmful insect fauna in pistachio Pistaciae vera L. orchards in Diyarbakır province(Dicle Üniversitesi, 2017) Şimşek, Abdulkadir; Bolu, HalilThis study was carried out to determine the harmful species for pistachio orchards between 2010 and 2011 in Diyarbakır province. In order to determine the harmful species the beating method and monitoring methods were used. At the end of study 46 harmful species belonging to 22 families in 4 orders, were found. Surveys were done by periods of 10 days between months April-October. The field experiment was arranged as the complete block design with four replications during the 2015-2016 growing seasons under Sirnak ecological conditions. Six-rowed and two-rowed Baris, Pandora barley cultivars were used as a material. Leaf area index LAI , SPAD, Normalized Differences Vegetative Index NDVI , Canopy Temperature CT , Protein Content, text weight, thousand kernel weight, starch content and grain yield were evaluated. According to the findings of research, differences between genotypes were found significant for protein content, starch content, yield, thousand kernel weight and test weight. The investigated traits ranged between 30.85-35.43 in SPAD, 1.70-2.30 in LAI, 0.505-0.533 in NDVI, 15.45°C-17.85 °C in CT, 1958-3093 kg ha-1 in grain yield, 32.55-46.27 g in thousand kernel weight, 66.35-73.40 kg hL-1 test weight, 8.1-9.1% in protein content, 63.13-66.49% in starch. Grain yield showed significant r=0.989** relationships with canopy temperatureÖğe Effect of cotton cultivars on some biological parameters of Aphis gossypii Glover Hemiptera: Aphididae(Dicle Üniversitesi, 2017) Yeşil, Berat; Yardım, Necip Erdal; Bayhan, ErolIn this study, some biological parameters of Aphis gossypii Glover Hemiptera: Aphididae on Beyaz Altın 119, May 468, Monsanto 499 and Bayer Candia cotton cultivars were evaulated. The total developmental time of A. gossypii was the highest 7.1 d on May 468 and it was the lowest 5.9 d on Beyaz Altın 119 under laboratory conditions 25 ± 1 °C, 65 ± 5 % Relativily humidity, 16:8 L:D . The highest net reproductive rate Ro was also observed 50.17 offspring/aphid/generation on Beyaz Altın 119 cultivar. The intrinsic rate of increase rm was the highest on Beyaz Altın 119 with 0.347 offspring/aphid/generation and the lowest on Monsanto 499 with 0.260 offspring/aphid/generationÖğe Identification of Some Seed Coat Traits in Advanced Generations of Cultured Chickpea (Cicer arietinum) and Wild Chickpea (C. reticulatum) Hybrids(Dicle Üniversitesi, 2023) Turan, Leyla; Bicer, BehiyeThis study was conducted in the Dicle University Faculty of Agriculture research area during the 2021-2022 growing season to determine the seed coat properties of advanced generation hybrid lines derived from Gökçe x wild chickpea genotypes. In the study, chickpea populations in F7-8 generations obtained from Gökçe × Cicer reticulatum hybrids (Gökçe × Cudi_152 (85 lines) Gökçe × Egil_073 (82 lines), Gökçe × Sirna _060 (84 lines) and Gökçe × Savur _063 (34 lines) were used. Experiment were in augmented design with 2 replications, and plots consist of 0,5 m length, one row and row spacing 50 cm. In the study, the seed coat color, seed shape, seed coat surface and color and shape formation on the seed coat were defined. In the hybrid lines in the F7 F8 generations, the color of the seed coat changed from black to light cream, and the colors were predominantly brown and its tones. In all populations, the seed shapes of the lines were pea-like. Different colorations were determined on the surface of the seed coat and in the embryo, and these were defined as lace shape, leopard pattern, bone-like seed coat surfaces.Öğe Combınıng abilities and heterotic effects for certain fiber properties in half-diallel cotton G. Hirsutum l. Hybrid populations(Dicle Üniversitesi, 2018) Gergerli, Birgül; Yılmaz, Ahmet; Yıldırım, MehmetCotton is a cultivated plant with a wide range of uses and strategically important both in terms of widespread and compulsory use as well as added value and employment opportunities and great economic importance. With this study, it was aimed to determine the appropriate lines or varieties by evaluating the general and special combination ability effects for fiber quality traits of 7 parent and their 21 F1 combination obtained from half diallel crosses combination. The study was conducted in 2014-2016 cotton growing season according to the randomised complete blocks design with three replications. In the study the fiber technological properties, such as fiber length mm , fiber strength gr / tex , fiber thinness mic , values and their compatibility and heterotic values of 28 genotypes were determined.. As a result of the study, it was determined that the effect of the additive genes was higher in managing the fiber length, fiber fineness and fiber strength properties. It has been concluded that the hybrid of 5x6 BA119 X Hat No: 76 for fiber length; 4x7 PG 2018XHat No: 77 for fiber fineness; and 1x2 Hat No: 88XFlash for fiber strength; are the most promising hybridsÖğe Türkiye'de Tarımsal Yükseköğretimde Tarımsal Yayım ve İletişim Dersinin Mevcut Durumu(Dicle Üniversitesi, 2022) Kara, Fatma Öcal; Akın, Songül; Ödemiş, GülsümTarımsal Yayım ve İletişim dersi; danışmanlık hizmetlerinde kullanılacak yöntem ve uygulamalar gibi teknik konuların yanı sıra kırsal toplum yapısı gibi sosyal konuları içermesi nedeniyle ziraat mühendisliği mesleğine, nitelikli bir danışman-üretici ilişkisine katkı sunabilecek bir derstir. Buna rağmen, ziraat fakültelerinin tarım ekonomisi bölümü dışındaki bölümlerinde bu ders tercih edilmemektedir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'de lisans düzeyinde verilen Tarımsal Yayım ve İletişim dersinin mevcut durumunun ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu maksatla 2022 yılı itibariyle 41 üniversitenin ziraat fakülteleri tam sayım örnekleme yöntemi ile çalışma kapsamına alınmıştır. Tarım Ekonomisi Bölümü dışındaki diğer bölümlerde dersin zorunlu işlenme oranı tarla bitkileri bölümünde %45, bahçe bitkileri bölümünde %28 ve hayvan bilimleri bölümünde %14 olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuç, "Ziraat mühendisi" unvanına sahip birçok mezunun mezun oldukları bölümlerin müfredatlarında bu dersin bulunmamasından dolayı insan kaynaklarının önemini ve özelliklerini iyi anlamadan kariyerlerine başladıkları şeklinde yorumlanabilir. Bu eksikliğin telafi edilebilmesi için Tarımsal Yayım ve İletişim dersinin diğer birçok servis dersi gibi tüm bölümlerde zorunlu olarak okutulması gerektiği değerlendirilmektedir.Öğe The Impact of Cultivation Systems on Yield and Quality Characteristics of Wheat in Drought Conditions(Dicle Üniversitesi, 2022) Eliş, Seval; Bicer, BehiyeThis study was conducted to determine the best method of sowing wheat by measuring yield and quality parameters, while also considering how important it is for the soil and product to be sustainable. The experiment was set up in randomized complete block design with 4 replications. In the study, the differences between the two sowing methods were significant for plant height, biological yield, yield, harvest index, number of spikes m2, spike length, spikelet number, grain weight spike-1, number of grains spike-1, thousand seed weight, CM1000, LAI and seed moisture NDVI, plant temperature, protein, carbohydrate, fat, moisture, and gluten content parameters of differences were no significant. The grain yield was determined to be affected by the sowing methods, and the grain yield ranged from 1585 kg/ha in flat sowing method to 2260 kg/ha at bed sowing method. The bed planting method, it has been observed, produces better use of the dwindling air humidity brought on by precipitation, and the plant height values reflect this.
