Öğe The Attitudes Of Parents On Primary Religion And Morals Course (Diyarbakir Sample)(Sakarya Univ, 2014) Arpaci, MucahitThe purpose of this study is to identify the attitudes of parents on Religion and Morals course and also factors affecting these attitudes. The universe of the study, constructed in descriptive scanning method, consists of parents inhabited in Diyarbakir during 2011-2012 educational period. The sample of the study consists of randomly defined 980 parents. Data collection is done by utilization of the scale of Altas on Attitudes of Parents on the Courses of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge. The findings of the research imply that where the attitudes of the parents on the lesson are high, the attitudes on the activities of the course (syllabus) are comparably low.Öğe Constructivist Educational Environments In Primary Religion And Morals Lessons(Dinbilimleri Akad Arastirma Merkezi, 2012) Arpaci, MucahitThe purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions of students on the constructivist learning environments in Religion and Morals lesson according to the grade and gender variables. The study is conducted in 8 primary schools in Diyarbakir in 2010-2011 educational year. Randomly defined 441 students of Religion and Morals lesson took part in the survey and general screening model is utilized. Parallel to the aims of the study, statistically; percentages, standard deviations, independent groups Mann Whitney-U test and Kruskal Wallis-H tests are used. Data collection is done by the use of Evaluation Scale of Constructivist Learning Environments. The results of the study imply that the participants have a perception of Agree level. Moreover, the perceptions are detected to be statistically significant according to the participants' gender and grade.Öğe Religion and Morals lesson teacher Candidates' attitudes on Value and values education(Dinbilimleri Akad Arastirma Merkezi, 2013) Arpaci, MucahitThe aim of this study is to identify the meanings that are uttered to the concept of value by the religion and morals lesson teacher candidates, the order of values and also the ideas to bring in values via lessons. The universe of the study consists of teacher candidates in Religion and Morals Education Program. Sampling is done by the use of scale sampling method as one of the purposed sampling methodology. The respondents were the seniors of Religion and Morals Education Program in 2012-13 educational year. The survey utilizes a scanning model by the use of a semi-structured interview form which consists of a ranking part enabling the candidates to mention the top 5 values mentioned in the syllabi of Religion and Morals lesson from 4(th) to 8(th) grade and some open ended questions embedded with the aim of acquiring the ideas of the candidates on values education. The data obtained is interpreted by the use of frequencies and tables in order to reflect the ideas of the teacher candidates. The results of the study are paraphrased under the titles of values ranking, the definition of values, the function of Religion and Morals lesson in values education and how to perform values education in Religion and Morals Lesson. Content analysis technique is used as one of the qualitative research method.
