Özet
İnsanoğlu, sınırsız kabul edilen ihtiyaçlarını kıt kaynaklar ile karşılamak zorundadır. Eldeki kaynakların optimum bir şekilde kullanılması bir çok bilimsel alanın konusunu oluşturur. Her bir birey elde ettiği gelir ile yaşamını sürdürmek ve geleceğe yönelik davranışları için şimdiden adım atmak durumundadır. Bunun için para yönetimi ve parayı kullanma bilgisi gerekir. Günümüz sosyoekonomik koşullarında, çeşitliliği ve karmaşıklığı artan finansal seçenekler ile başa çıkmak için para yönetimi önemli bir konu haline gelmiştir. Bu sayede bireyler hem parasal sıkıntıları için önceden önlem alabilir hem de yaşam kalitesini artırma imkânı bulurlar. Bu çalışma, Dicle Üniversitesi akademisyenlerinin kişisel finans kapsamında para yönetimi becerilerinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Anket ölçeği kullanılarak veriler elde edilmiştir. Akademik personelin finansal bilgi ve finansal davranışlarının incelenmesiyle para yönetimi becerileri hakkında değerlendirme yapılmıştır.
Abstract Human beings have to meet their unlimited needs with scarce resources. Optimum use of available resources is the subject of many scientific fields. Each individual has to live with the income he/she earns and take steps now for his/her future behaviors. This requires knowledge of money management and using money. In today's socioeconomic conditions, money management has become an important issue to deal with the increasing diversity and complexity of financial options. In this way, individuals can both take precautionary measures for their financial problems and increase their quality of life. This study was conducted to evaluate the money management skills of Dicle University academics within the scope of personal finance. Data were obtained using the questionnaire scale, frequency analysis, Anova test and Chi-Square test were applied. By examining the financial knowledge and financial behaviors of academic staff, it is aimed to evaluate their money management skills. According to the results, it was determined that there was no statistical relationship between the title of the participants and managing their financial situation, and also between gender and credit card usage rate. However, it has been observed that the monthly average payment to the credit card changes as the income level changes. In addition, no significant difference was found between having children and the habit of regularly saving money
