Öğe First contribution to the Campodeid fauna of the Anatolian Peninsula, Turkey (Diplura: Campodeidae).(Museum Histoire Naturelle, 2006) Sendra, Alberto; Satar, Ali; Montagud, SergioFor the first time, 13 species of Diplura Campodeidae belonging to the following genera and subgenera are recorded from the Anatolian Peninsula: Campodea s. str. (4 species), Dicampa (5), Eutrichocampa (1), Plusiocampa (2) and Libanocampa (1). Among them, a new species is described, Campodea (Dicampa) azkarraga Sendra sp. n., which has been found in only one place in the Turkish province of Ardahan (Eastern Anatolia). The zoogeographical composition of Campodeidae fauna in Anatolia remains thus (without the new species): four species known from the Aegean Islands and the Balkan Peninsula, three from Central Europe, two from the regions to the north and east of the Black Sea, two from the south-western Mediterranean, one species from the western Mediterranean and one species known from the Palaearctic region.Öğe New evidence for an Anatolian bridge: Colonization of Euromediterranean lands by cave-adapted Plusiocampinae (Diplura, Campodeidae), with establishment of a new genus(Elsevier Gmbh, 2022) Sendra, Alberto; Palero, Ferran; Sanchez-Garcia, Alba; Selfa, Jesus; Tusun, Sadreddin; Satar, AliA new genus of Plusiocampinae (Diplura, Campodeidae), Anatoliacampa diclensis Sendra, Tusun & Satar gen. et sp. nov., is described from specimens found in the Southeastern Anatolian Peninsula in Dicle cave (Bozaba village, Dicle district, Diyarbakir province, Turkey). Based on its morphological characteristics and molecular analysis, the new taxon undoubtedly belongs to the well-established subfamily Plusiocampinae and occupies, like most species of the subfamily, cave habitats. Anatoliacampa diclensis has two important features: its unique pretarsus and the abundant distribution of urosternal macrosetae. The finding of this new taxon is of high palaeogeographic interest, as it provides new evidence for establishing Anatolia as a land bridge for the colonization of the Euro-Mediterranean lands by cave-adapted Plusiocampinae and their few soil-dwelling relatives.Öğe New species, new records, and distribution of Campodeidae (Diplura) in Anatolia(Magnolia Press, 2010) Sendra, Alberto; Teruel, Santiago; Satar, Ali; Tusun, Sadreddin; Ozbay, CengizhanThe campodeid dipluran fauna from Anatolia was studied from samples collected from the Black Sea, southeastern, Aegean, and eastern regions of Turkey. A total of 16 species were collected: Campodea s. str. (10 species), Dicampa (2), Eutrichocampa (2), Libanocampa (1), and Edriocampa (1). Two new species are described: Campodea (Campodea) anae Sendra & Teruel n. sp. from northern Anatolia and Campodea (Campodea) sarae Sendra & Teruel n. sp. from Denizli, in southeastern Turkey. These results suggest that additional sampling is needed in other parts of Turkey to adequately characterize the campodeid fauna. The known campodeid biodiversity of Anatolia stands at 23 species, 3 times less than the Iberian peninsula.
