Insufficient cover thickness is one of these reasons. The topic of this study consists of the concept of inadequate concrete cover. Concrete cover values with different thicknesses were chosen, and it was aimed to show how these values affect the performance of a building. Base shear forces, stiffness values and target displacement were obtained for each different concrete cover. A reduction in concrete cover resulted in an increase in the base shear force and stiffness values. Insufficient concrete cover layer will reduce the strength of the reinforcement over time. This will negatively affect the earthquake performance of the building. It should be kept in mind that the main function of a concrete cover is to prevent external effects which adversely affect the strength of the reinforcement. In this study, information was also provided about corrosion caused by the lack of concrete cover, and solutions to the corrosion were presented.Öğe S)-2-izopropil-n-benzil-4, 7, 10, 13, 16 pentaoksa-1-azasiklodekan 1H-NMR T1 ve T2 durulma zamanları ölçümleri yoluyla moleküler hareketlerinin incelenmesi(2017) Kaya, Berfin; Aşkın, MuzafferBu çalışmanın amacı, NMR T1 ve T2 ölçümleri yolu ile C22H37NO5 crown eterin moleküler hareketinin sıcaklığa bağlı olarak incelenmesidir. (S)-2- izopropilN-benzil-4,7,10,13,16- pentaoksa-1- azasiklodekan(Aza-18-Taç-6) maddesinden 20 mg alınarak, 5 mL CDCI3 içinde çözüldü ve 5 mm çapındaki NMR tüpüne koyuldu. Sıcaklık 298-313 0K değerleri arasında her seferinde 5 0K düşürülerek yapıldı ve her sıcaklık değerinde her bir pik için T1 ve T2 değeri ölçüldü. Ölçümler BRUKER marka 400 MHz NMR spektroskopisi ile gerçekleştirildi. Sıcaklık deneylerinin değerlendirilmesinde dipol-dipol etkileşmesine ( dipol çiftlerinin etkileşimi) dayanan kuram kullanıldı. Buna dayalı olarak ln T1’in,1/T ve ln T2’nin, 1/T ye karşı grafikleri çizildi. Aşırı daralma durumu ile uyum gösterdiği görüldü. Buradan T1 ve T2 ölçümleri için Ea aktivasyon enerjileri ve ?c ilgi zamanları hesaplandı. Molekül için hesaplanan aktivasyon enerjileri, ?0 ve ?c ilgi zamanlarından hareketle, molekülün takla hareketi yapmış olabileceğine yorumlandı.Öğe The effect of different negative parameters on the performance of steel structures(Bitlis Eren Üniversitesi, 2020) Işık, Ercan; Kaya, Berfin; Karasin, İbrahim BaranIn this study, we present the effect of various negativity parameters on steel structures that cause post-earthquake damage based on performance-based assessment. In accordance with this purpose, eigenvalue and pushover analysis are carried out for different negativity parameters such as number of story, soft story, short column, hill-slope effect and irregularity in plan for a sample steel structure in this study. Structural models were created over the reference building to cover each negativity parameter within the scope of this study. Natural vibration period, base shear force, target displacements for damage estimation and stiffness values are obtained for each structural model separately. The comparisons with the reference building model results are made. The effect to behaviour of structures is determined and a reduction coefficient is proposed, for each negativity parameter, respectively. The proposed coefficients can be used to determine the risk priority in steel structures. It was concluded that each negativity parameter considered in this study reduces the behaviour of the building under the effect of earthquakes.
