    Evaluation of the taxonomy and conservation status of Podonosma sintenisii (Boraginaceae)

    The current taxonomic status of an endemic species, Podonosma sintenisii, is discussed, and its morphology is compared with that of the closely related species Podonosma orientalis. Nutlet, leaf, and pollen micrograp-hs of the species are presented using scanning electron microscopy. The identification key and geographical distribution map of Podonosma sintenisii and related species are presented, and the threat category is defined according to IUCN.

    Güneydoğu Anadolu bölgesinde Diyarbakır'dan toplanan Pimpinella nephrophylla Rech. f. & H. Riedl (Apiaceae), Türkiye florası için yeni bir kayıttır. Tür, P. flabellifolia (Boiss.) Bent. & Hook, ex Drude, P. sintenisii Wollf ve P. paucidentata Matthews'e oldukça benzer olup bu türler ile karşılaştırılmıştır.
