Öğe The comparison studies on the proliferation of lateral sues of Vitis vinifera L.cv. Alphonse during different periods of the year at in vitro conditions(Mbr Press Inc, 1998) Isikalan, C; Adiyaman, F; Basaran, DIn this study, lateral buds of Vitis vinifera L.cv. Alphonse were used as material. During micropropagation, 2mg/l BAP (6-benzylaminopurine) and during rooting, 2mg/l NAA (proportional to-Naftalen Aseticacid) was added into the Murashige-Skoog (1) medium, which is used in culture studies. our aim is to compare proliferation capabilities of lateral buds of Alphonse grapevine in terms of various periods of year in in-vitro conditions. As a result, rooty seedling were obtained from lateral buds cultivated in yearly period of time,and it was determined that the most favourable and productive seedlings were those obtained from materials cultivated in the months November and December. It was also established that the success rate of seedlings obtained from materials cultivated in these months was about 80-85 %.Öğe In vitro propagation of khinjuk pistachio (Pistacia khinjuk stocks) through seedling apical shoot tip culture(Sejani Publ, 2005) Tilkat, E; Isikalan, C; Onay, AAn efficient method was developed for in vitro propagation of Pistacia khinjuk (khinjuk pistachio). Shoot cultures were established from aseptically germinated seedlings of khinjuk pistachio. Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium with Gamborg's vitamins containing 30 g P sucrose, 100 mg l(-1) I-ascorbic acid, 1 mg l(-1) BA and 7 g l(-1) agar resulted in multiple shoot initiation at the rate of 7.25 +/- 0.95 shoots per explant in 28 days of culture. Efficient rooting was achieved in MS medium supplemented with 0.5 mg l(-1) IBA. The in vitro raised plants were acclimatized in a growth room and transplanted to the field successfully. The method described will be useful for rapid multiplication of khinjuk pistachio for commercial exploitation.
