For this research, out of 525 articles published in the Hacettepe University Journal of Education between the years 2011 and 2015, 184 articles, for the analysis of which SPSS, LISREL and AMOS softwareprograms were utilized, were probed by means of content analysis method. The data obtained from the study were presented as the form of tables including frequency, standard deviation, mean and percentage ratios, and then this data were interpreted accordingly. The articles were analyzed according to publication year, number of authors, language, sample size and group of sample, data analysis tool, research design, and the number and the method of data analysis. As a result of the study, it was determined that the vast majority of the articles were published in 2012 and 2013. Moreover, more than half of the articles were written in Turkish and conducted by two authors. It has been determined that the majority of sample groups were composed of university students and the researchers studied with sample groups with 101-300 participants at most. In addition, two different data analysis methods were used in most of the articles. It was determined that t-test, descriptive statistics and ANOVA were mostly used as data analysis methods. In these studies, quantitative research methods were utilized mainly as the research design, and SPSS was the most utilized software as the data analysis program.Öğe Evaluation of the published articles in Turkish journal of computer and mathematics education according to content analysis(Karadeniz Technical University, 2018) Kutluca, Tamer; Birgin, Osman; Gündüz, SametAs an international refereed journal related to computer and mathematics education researches, Turkish Journal of Computer and Mathematics Education (TURCOMAT) has been released since 2009 and publishes articles in Turkish and English. This study aimed to reveal the tendencies by examining the articles published in TURCOMAT journal. In the study, a total of 151 articles in the TURCOMAT published between 2009-2017 years were analyzed by content analysis method. Articles in the journal were examined according to publication year, number of authors, languages, fields, authors' titles, sample groups, sample sizes, research methods, research designs and source numbers. Findings were presented descriptively using frequency and percentage value. As a result of the study, it was determined that the nearest halves of the articles were written by two authors and the most among the authors were assistant professors. The vast majority of the articles were in Turkish and more than half of the articles were prepared in the field of mathematics education. It was found that participants in the reviewed studies as sample groups were mostly undergraduate students and majority of the studies employed samples sizes between 31-100 participants. The qualitative research method and case study design were used more frequently in the researches. Moreover, it was determined that the foreign sources used in the articles more than the domestic sources.Öğe Gerçekçi matematik eğitimi yaklaşımının akademik başarıya ve tutuma etkisi üzerine bir meta-analiz çalışması(Hacettepe Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi, 2022) Kutluca, Tamer; Gündüz, SametBu araştırmada gerçekçi matematik eğitimi yaklaşımının, öğrencilerin akademik başarısına ve matematiğe yönelik tutumlarına etkisini incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Ulaşılan sonuçlar neticesinde araştırmacılara ve uygulamaya yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.Öğe A Meta-Analysis Study on the Effect of the Use of Smart Board in the Teaching of Mathematics and Science to Students’ Academic Achievements(2019) Kutluca, Tamer; Gündüz, SametIn this study, a meta-analysis study was conducted to investigate theeffect of the use of smart board on students’ academic achievements inthe teaching of mathematics and science. In this meta-analysis research,35 studies carried out between 2008-2018 were analyzed and 25 studiessuitable for inclusion criteria were combined with the meta-analysismethod.
