Bulgular: HBsAg açısından incelenen 125129 serum örneğinin 14176’inde (%11,32) HBsAg pozitifliği, anti-HBs açısından incelenen 124914 serum örneğinin 55803’sında(%44,7) anti-HBs pozitifliği, anti-HCV açısından incelenen 109340 örneğin 1013’sında(%0,93) anti-HCV pozitifliği, HAV IgG açısından incelenen 1511 örneğin 767’sinde(%50,76) HAV IgG pozitifliği, anti-HIV açısından incelenen 97501 örneğin sadece51’inde (%0,0005) anti-HIV pozitifliği saptanmıştır.Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, viral hepatitler ilimiz için önemli sağlık problemleridir. Aşılama, enfeksiyon kontrol programları ve halkın eğitimi yeni enfeksiyonların riskini azaltabilir. Anti-HIV pozitifliği ilimizde çok düşük bulunmuştur.Öğe Effects of Nicotine on Rat Tongue Muc Histopathological and Immunohistochemical Analysis(Sci Printers & Publ Inc, 2016) Eratilla, Veysel; Uysal, Ibrahim; Deveci, Engin; Gunes, Rojdan Ferman; Eratilla, Elif; Yildiz, Ismail; Soker, SevdaOBJECTIVE: To evaluate the histopathological and immunohistochemical effects of systemically administered nicotine on rat tongue mucosa. STUDY DESIGN: Rats were assigned to groups: the experimental group received nicotine ically (nicotine sulphate 2 mg/kg subcutaneously for 28 days), while the rats in the trol grow ere administered physiological saline mL subcutaneously for 28 days). All animals sacrificed at the end of the study, and tongue tissue ere removed and prepared according his histological procedures. Sections were sta toxylin a sin and observed by. Immunorec y of tongue mucosa , 'E-ca Ilagen IV, and VEr by immunhistochemical staining. RESULTS: There w if cant differences in the average histlogical a between the nicotine-treated treated gr Morphological changes, including inflammatory I to infiltration and cellular desquamation, blood dilation, hemorrhage, and epithelial degeneration r. re noted. Further, E-cadherin expression w significantly decreased in the nicotine-treated grow,w the untreated group. The nicotine treat up showed an increase in collagen IV secondary ae and basal cells. CONCLUSION: The increased level of VEGF exprescs n in the nicotine-treated group may have affected endothelial cell apoptosis.Öğe Effects on alveolar bone of diabetes mellitus induced by streptozotocin in rats. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical study(Universidad de la Frontera, 2018) Yılmaz, Nezih; Uysal, İbrahim; Eratilla, Veysel; İrtegün, Sevgi; Ferman, Rojda Güneş Uysal; Eratilla, Elif; Elbey, Hüseyin; Uysal, Ersin; Deveci, Buşra; Deveci, EnginThe purpose of this study was to investigate effects of diabetes mellitus (DM) on the alveolar bone with histopathological and immunohistochemical methods. Wistar rats were divided into two groups, control and diabetes group. Control group was fed standard rat chow and drinking water for 8 weeks. Single dose (Streptozotocin) STZ (55 mg/kg), was dissolved in sodium citrate buffer and introduced intraperitoneal injection. Diabetes group and control group were compared in terms of glucose values. The blood glucose concentration in diabetic rats was significantly high (p <0.05). In diabetes group; periodontal membrane and the dilation of blood vessels, hemorrhage has also been a significant increase in inflammatory cells. In the diabetes group, osteonectin showed positive expression in periodontal membrane and showed negative expression in osteocytes of alveolar bone. Osteopontin expression in fibroblast cells and periodontal membrane collagen fibrils was positive, alveolar cells, osteocytes and bone matrix bone was found positive. Diabetes results showed that there formed periodontitis; due to the increase in inflammation inhibiting bone formation delaying the development of early bone cells.Öğe Evaluation of stress distribution of a new restorative material and composite resin: a finite-element analysis study(Taylor & Francis Ltd, 2017) Dogan, Mehmet Sinan; Demirci, Fatih; Eratilla, Elif; Eratilla, Veysel; Yavuz, Yasemin; Unal, MehmetGlass carbomer cement is a new dental material developed from the traditional glass ionomer cements. It has better mechanical and chemical features when compared to the conventional glass ionomer cements. The purpose of this in silico investigation was to examine the influence of glass carbomer and composite resin materials with class I cavity design on stresses happening in the inlay. Finite-element analysis and three-dimensional modelling were used to examine the stress in the glass carbomer and hybrid composite inlays resulting from a 300-N point load on occlusal surfaces. Two different inlay materials, glass carbomer cement and hybrid composite resin, were evaluated. The maximum von Misses stress values in the composite resin inlays were significantly lower than those in the glass carbomer inlays. The results from this study showed that the resistance of the glass carbomer against the forces was higher than that of the composite resin inlays. The stresses were concentrated mostly at similar regions. The obtained results suggest that glass carbomer may be recommended as a preferred filler restorative material in teeth with much structure loss.
