The main purpose of this study is the review of products created by the students taking Museum Studies and Practices to subject included in the undergraduate program of Art Teaching during the distance learning process. The efforts both by the education institutions and the museums during the pandemic regarding the teachings of the lessons in the process of distance learning have been reviewed and the experiences in the practice with the students regarding the process have been shared. Along with normalization, online lectures have been provided in Diyarbakır İçkale Museum during the days when the museum was open and the ‘Thematic Exhibition Building’ of the museum has been visited. The students were asked to draw the development and improvement stages of an object and to provide brief information on the historical period in which their selected object has been utilized. As for the practical part of the lectures, the products of 50 students have been reviewed through the method of document analysis. Information on what are the thematic objects selected by the teacher candidates, how many different stages they were able to draw the object, the title they have selected for their themes, and the technique they used in their drawings have been shown within tables in the findings section. It has been observed that the practical lectures undertaken with the students through the artifacts exhibited at the museum have been as effective as face-to-face education. Despite all of the restrictions during the distance learning period, the students were still able to visit the virtual museums that have provided access to their inventories and were able to undertake practical studies starting a single theme. Suggestions regarding the development of new projects as to what kind of an effect this process is going to have for the days to come and regarding the responsibilities of the establishments and institutions in distance learning and the improvement of the studies for utilization of technological resources towards the online use of the museums in the field of education have been provided within the context of this study.
