Öğe The demonstration of changes in bulbar conjunctiva surface epithelium in the psoriatic patients treated with PUVA.(2008) Söker S.; Nergiz Y.; Cakmak S.; Bahçeci S.; Aytekin S.We investigated the effects of disease itself and PUVA treatment on surface epithelium of conjunctiva in psoriatic patients (PP) before PUVA and after PUVA therapy and in 32 healthy volunteers. Squamous metaplasia was detected in PP both before and after PUVA therapy. We concluded that PUVA treatment applied together with preventive measures, would lead to less severe ocular side effects.
