    Investigation of cutter consumption in bahce-nurdagi T2 tunnel

    In this study, cutter consumption was examined in Bahçe-Nurdagi T2 Tunnel between 1950- 7822 meters. In this context, total excavation volume, total changing number of discs, position of changing discs on cutter head were taken into consideration. As a result of the study; It was obtained that cutter consumption was directly related to Cerchar Abrasion Index but uniaxial compressive strength and tensile strength were not significantly related. In addition, different wear types can be observed in the cutters depending on the cutter positions and excavation conditions, and the most exposed discs are environmental discs.
