    Evaluation of youtube ın terms of privacy: A descriptive analysis of damla altun channel

    Privacy; in the historical process, the private space of individuals has been defined with concepts such as privacy and has become a transforming phenomenon that has been widely discussed in every period. Especially the development of new communication technologies, Communication, broadcasting and reaching the masses with the opportunities provided by Web 2.0 make it very easy to reach the privacy line, and in line with the aims such as fame and money, one of the most basic rights of individuals; it destroys private life and privacy and makes it transparent. Today, personal data and privacy of individuals are displayed on social media platforms in the public sphere with the consent and display of individuals themselves. YouTube, which is a video sharing site, is one of the leading of these platforms. YouTube, which allows users to have their own channel, create and share their own channels free of charge, pays a fee to users who reach a certain number of subscribers and views. On the platform, where more views and subscribers mean more money, users are destroying their private space and privacy more and more every day in order to attract the attention of the masses. In this study, the videos of the famous YouTuber Damla Altun were examined in terms of privacy, and violations of information, body and space privacy were determined.
