    Bipartite graphs associated with Pell, Mersenne and Perrin numbers

    Circulant m-Diagonal Matrices Associated with Chebyshev Polynomials

    In this study, we deal with an m banded circulant matrix, generally called circulant mdiagonal matrix. This special family of circulant matrices arise in many applications suchas prediction, time series analysis, spline approximation, difference solution of partialdifferential equations, and so on. We firstly obtain the statements of eigenvalues andeigenvectors of circulant m-diagonal matrix based on the Chebyshev polynomials of thefirst and second kind. Then we present an efficient formula for the integer powers of thismatrix family depending on the polynomials mentioned above. Finally, some illustrativeexamples are given by using maple software, one of computer algebra systems (CAS).

    COMPUTING INTEGER POWERS FOR A CERTAIN FAMILY OF SKEW CIRCULANT MATRICES

    In this paper, we derive a formula for the entries of the integer powers of acertain type of skew circulant matrices of odd and even order in terms of the Chebyshevpolynomials of the first and second kind. Finally, we give a Maple procedure along withsome numerical examples in order to verify our calculation.

    Bu çalışmada iki parçalı komşuluk matrisi mertebeli ( )-circulant matrisi olan iki parçalı bir graf ele aldık. Daha sonra bu grafın mükemmel eşlemelerinin ( -factor) sayılarının Lucas sayıları ile arasındaki ilişkiyi verdik. Son olarak da bu mükemmel eşlemelerin sayısını hesaplamak için bazı maple prosedürleri verdik.

    On the connections between the permanents of some tridiagonal matrices and the Pell and Jacobsthal numbers

    In this paper, we consider two n x n tridiagonal matrix families. Then we study the relationships between permanents of these families and Pell and Jacobsthal sequences. Moreover, we present two Maple 13 procedures that give connections between these permanents and integer sequences.
