Öğe Determination of cytotoxic, anticholinesterase, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of some wild mushroom species(Informa Healthcare, 2016) Dündar, Abdurrahman; Okumuş, Veysi; Özdemir, Sadin; Çelik, Kadir Serdar; Boğa, Mehmet; Özçağlı, Eren; 0000-0002-5505-2700In the performed study of methanol extraction of wild edible mushroom species; Agaricus arvensis, Agaricus campestris, Armillaria mellea, Fomes fomentarius, Coprinus micaceus, Coriolus versicolor and Lactarius deliciosus were examined for screening their cytotoxic, anticholinesterase, antioxidant and antimicrobial capacity. Phenolic acid composition of mushrooms was also analysed. L. deliciosus and F. fomentarius were generally showed the highest activities at antioxidant test systems (metal chelating, superoxide anion radical scavenging, total antioxidant, 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging and reducing power activity tests). The highest activities at antimicrobial activity displayed by A. arvensis and as 18 ± 0.8 against to Staphylococcus aureus. The best IC50 values of mushroom methanol extracts at anticancer activities on HeLa and NRK-52E were 7.09 and 18.23 mg/mL exhibited by C. micaceus and A. campestris, respectively. The highest butyrylcholinesterase activity exhibited by L. deliciosus. Total amount of phenolic acids were found as 1,224.70 mg/kg at L. deliciosus.Öğe Effects of natural hard shell particles on physical, chemical, mechanical and thermal properties of composites(Sage Publications INC., 2021) Çelik, Yahya Hışman; Çelik, Kadir Serdar; Kılıçkap, ErolShelled herbal foods are widely consumed. The evaluation of the shells of these foods is important due to their features such as low cost, ease of recycling and environmental friendliness. In this study, hazelnut shell (HS), pistachio shell (PS), and apricot kernel shell (AKS) were brought to powder particles by grinding to dimensions of 300-425 mu m. Some of the powder particles were converted into ash at 900 degrees C. The amounts of cellulose, ash, humidity, and metal in these particles via chemical analyses were determined, while their structural properties via X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) analyses. Composite materials were produced by adding 15 wt.% to the polyester matrix material from these powder particles and ashes. Compression strength, hardness, specific weight, and thermal conductivity of these composites were analyzed. The lowest and highest humidity, ash, cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin ratios in powders showed differences depending on the type of powders. The amount of Sn and K in the HS, PS, and AKS powders were close to each other, while the amount of Ca, Na, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn and Si was higher in AKS powder. The reinforcement adding to the polyester increased the compression strength, hardness, specific weight and thermal conductivity properties.Öğe Gıda ürünlerinde immüno afinite kolonunda temizleme (clean up) işleminden sonra iyot türevlendirmesi yapılarak HPLC ile aflatoksin B1, B2, G1, G2 türevlerinin tayini(2017) Çelik, Kadir Serdar; Düz, M. ZahirBu araştırmada Diyarbakır ilinde satışa sunulan 15 tür gıda örneklerinden (kişniş, karabiber, siyah pul biber, kırmızı pul biber, Antep fıstığı, toz biber, kekik, nohut, pirinç, fındık, mercimek, buğday, tarçın, nane, mısır) toplamda 45 gıda örneğindeki Aflatoksin G2, G1, B2, B1 miktarları HPLC yöntemi ile tayin edilmiştir. Alınan 15 tür örneğin sadece 5 türünde tespit edilebilir düzeyde aflatoksin belirlenmiş olup, diğer örneklerdeki aflatoksin derişimlerinin tayin sınırının altında olduğu belirlenmiştir. Analiz edilen örneklerden kırmızı pul biber türünde, Deneylerden elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde, kırmızı pul örneklerinden birindeki Aflatoksin türlerinin derişimlerinin Türk Gıda Kodeksinde bulunmasına müsaade edilen maksimum değerleri aştığı belirlenmiştir.
