Ozben, Tamer2024-04-242024-04-2420140025-5300https://hdl.handle.net/11468/20987The aim of this study was to investigate the different mechanical properties with respect to the impact behaviour on a single layer composite. For this, steel spheres have been used with low initial speed of v(0) = 2.5 m/s, 4 m/s and 5 m/s and three different diameters. The spheres have been dropped to the plate surface in the vertical direction. Sphere diameters of d = 7 mm, 8 5 mm and 10 mm have been chosen and the effect of impact on three different ply made composite materials has been calculated. The impact characteristics were evaluated by the pulse parameter lambda, the reversal energy E, the contact force F, and the rebound velocity V.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccess[No Keyword]Impact Characteristics of Steel Spheres Dropped into a Single Layer CompositeImpact Characteristics of Steel Spheres Dropped into a Single Layer CompositeArticle5615458WOS:0003296866000072-s2.0-84892597214Q2Q4
